Over at my favorite lake vacation spot with the nice range. Id written shooting off as it's Saturday and I thought it would be crowded.
Wife insisted we go look.
Totally empty.
I don't shoot very often these days so as usual I shot too many guns but they all went well.
The Tupperware EAA Witness that didn't appeal to me last trip was about 2000% better after the new trigger. Accuracy was impressive and it might just ride with me since it ran so well.
Found that the wife's S&W 638 wasn't at all comfy to shoot and she couldn't hit well with it. Surprisingly she did very well with the Sig 365 which I also didn't like first trip but got along very well with this time. Good accuracy and she said it felt better to shoot, she needs more trigger time to be good but already better than the Smith. She did say the Smith looked cooler. Chip off the old block.
Shot the Ruger PC9 again and I love that thing to pieces. About 80 yards since the ground was kind of loose and sandy and I didn't want to get stuck beyond the 80. Shot probably 50 rounds that I could cover with my hand easy. Love that thing.
Brought a few others I didn't shoot but come back in July so I'll bring another batch.
All in all a very nice successful and fun day at the range.
Now windy an rainy at the lake, perfect for siesta.
