K40 Covert

There is a K40 Covert listed on Gunbroker, never knew they made such a thing. MK-40 frame with a K-40 slide. Anybody own one? How does it handle?

Yes...Kahr made Covert's in 9mm and 40S&W but many years ago. They are not just a K9 slide on a MK9 frame, I tested that with my K9 and MK9. The slide is modified to adapt to the MK size frame.

Another K40 covert was just listed for sale on GB for 369. Seller doesn’t have it listed as a covert though.

I have one, bought it many years ago at a gun show used. Shoots soft for a 40. I have put a few hundred rounds though it with out issue. Sets in the safe most days now.Shoot the K9 a lot more.

No covert here, but I've wished for a 45 Covert for years.
Actually a M45 Commander Elite IS my wish list :cool:
