I'm thinking my collection of Kahrs is worth less than I'd thought. Not a lot of flipping potential, I surmise. Good thing I bought 'em to keep and shoot.

My wife is going to be very disappointed. All though her not knowing what I have paid for them……….
Just an idea of what I paid for used a K9 6-8 years ago, under $400- over $375. Used MK9 4 years ago, under $350. A couple of weeks ago a lGS had an all black used K9 at under $375. If selling to a gun shop you can figure you will be paid only a third of that price. Another LGS has had a used P45 at $450 for close to a month now. I’m afraid to make him an offer as he might accept it.

your
link comes up $379 for me. The cheapest I have ever seen the cw9 is $299 so if you find one for $202 you better buy it.

Ah, probably yesterday's "deal of the day" offering or maybe one of those car-dealer-like "only one VIN at this price" enticements. I could hardly believe the throw-away price, but I already have a CW9 and there's not much favor to be done by saving someone a hundred bucks in passing it along. If they post a Shield at that price, though . . . ;-)
I'm actually heartened by that news, because perhaps it's not the "Kahr market drop" bellwether that I'd thought it might portend.

Portend? I gotta look that one up, over my displaced Missouri dirt farmer head. Gotta sees if it's a good thing or a bad thing.

Colonel,
On a ship you have port and starboard instead of left and right. The portend is most likely on the left or port, back (aft) side.
OR
When you pull your ship into port, and moor, the end near the pier is the Portend.
(Sorry, could not resist)

Are you tugging on my worthless legs? I finally figured out Port is left on account of they both have 4 letters. So right as to be the other one.
Always thought moors was kind of like a swamp in England or something. But course I ain't the sharpest knife in the drawer neither.

Starboard => Star bright => Star Right
Portend => may happen, seems to indicate
There will be a quiz class :D

You guys crack me up. I had 3 of my 4 kids back home for Christmas, and experienced real-time language evolution and how it's leaving my generation behind. Their speech is generously sprinkled with many memes and other cultural references that would require way too much Internet and television time for me to gain literacy.
Way back when, my 6th grade teacher was a hobby sailor so our class was split into port and starboard sides, with the advanced math, reading, etc., always to port.
Re the $209 K9, there's some speculation on the originating forum that it was a fat-fingered mistake by the vendor.
