Dawson precision

is it just me or does dawson not stock anything, back in march i ordered two glock base pads and recieved them the last of april. i thought i would give them another chance since they are one of the few who make sights for the cw series called on the 7th of this month and am still waiting, was told two weeks max. i am used to shooting HEINIE sights and the dawson is the only sight that looks to be similar and heinie told me they do not make a sight for the cw series,are they worth the wait or should i just go elsewhere. sorry for the rant but my patience is getting shorter as my age grows.

wait until you hit 67, then you will order something and expect it the day before your ordered it:)

To your original question, Dawson makes good stuff. They got some real helpful and nice folks working there to help figure stuff out, sight heights and stuff. As much as I hate to wait I'd probably do so rather than step down to a lower product.

been told that dawson makes all of their sights in house also. alot of perecise machine work in their sights. IMO, they are worth the wait and IMO they make the finest sights on the marke.t Maybe a phone callto them to see what is holdingup your order and politely talking to them. Quite possably smethng might have slipped through the cracks and a pho9ne call might just get your sights quicker to.

You have had experiience with dawsons ights, so you know the quality to..

Don't know where you are located, but it could be the mail or shipping that is holding things up. I ordered from them and it took 7 days to arrive and I am only about 120 miles from there. The mail was the slow factor. As Jocko suggested, give them a call and see what is up. Having dealt with them I doubt they are the problem, but could be.

i called dawson back on 9/24 and was told my sights were out being lamped as they do not fool with the lamps and should be back at dawson on the 28th or 29th and will ship to me asap.thanks for the advice guys , i am hoping they are worth the wait and trying desperatly to be patient but so far its not working.:o

update 10/7 so far i have recieved a dovetail front sight ,a fiber optic front sight and today i called back and gave them the number. the person i got on the phone was very sorry this has happened, but still it has been going on since 9/7 and has gotten very old. i have once again proved the old adage if you want something done right do it yourself, dont make the same mistake i did, called from work and i let them look it up.i will never make this mistake again look it up yourself and give them the part number or just order from the computer but i was curious about their cw sight and wanted to know if they would work and then just had said salesperson place my order NEVER AGAIN lesson learned rant off:mad:
