Nice.
But the ATF is trying to mess with those nowadays.
This is my recently acquired PSA cheapo 5.56.
Haven’t decided yet to put on my Sig Romeo optic or a Magpul folding rear sight.

You should put on both. I have the Sig Romeo with the Mag Puls for back up. I added a magnifier too which I kind of like although it goes against my beliefs not to hang too much stuff on a rifle.

I have the same setup minus the magnifier. Haven’t sprung for one of those yet. It works out good.

Armybrat, we have always seemed to like the same guns. I just bought my son the same gun last week as a starter AR. Hope to see more post on this with the Red Dot and Magpul. (gun has not arrived yet.)

My son wanted a 9mm pistol for general home and carry use so we went to Adventure Outdoors in Smyrna Ga Saturday to see what they had and OMG this store is huge with more guns than you can look at, I hope when I die I wake up in a place like this because this is Heaven so we looked at the Walther PDP which is a nice gun but a little spendy for his budget so we looked at Glocks, Springfield Hellcats and the Sig 365 XL but nothing was the one until we came across the Sig 320 Compact and it seemed to fit just right and they bonded right away and I have to say that is one more nice CCW pistol, not too big or too small to get a full grip on and with a super nice trigger so he took her home and I’m happy for him but jealous because now I want one…….

Bushnell TRS-25, I think I bought it on sale for $49.95 LOL!
Where it's mounted really gets hot.
But it's never failed and just works.
Go figure?

I have one of those same Bushnell’s that at one time was mounted on a .308 and now on an AR. It is still on the same battery that it was 10 years ago too. I think I paid $79 back then. It holds zero real well too.

Actually I think that is the one on his MP-AR22. I have a few cheap Leepers UTG on shotguns that work fine. The PSA I bought for him was done because he was only interested in bare bones Mil spec for different qualifications etc. I did not know that the owner is former Iraq Vet, and injured while over there. Just saw a video of the PSA Freedom by Sooch and he mentions this and how he did not get into the business to make money but to insure all Americans could have one before the left takes them away.

I know the feeling. After spending time with my son's Sig M17, I want one as well. I bought it for him on his return from Kurdistan in Dec. Maybe if I am lucky, He will let me use it some times.
Adventure Outdoors sounds like fun way to spend the day. Maybe better than a gun show.

I had a hankerin' for a P-220 a few years ago (loving all things in .45ACP), rented one at the local range. Trigger was god awful. Changed my mind.
This was back when the 9mm Legions first came out, rented that too. Wow, nice trigger. Maybe the .45 was just dirty, but should not have been so bad.

I love this knife, I've wanted one forever, hasn't happened yet. I like this one with an antler handle which they of course get even more money for. What price looking cool right?
I like the Micro Tech's too. I do have one of those. Wife nearly fainted when she found what I paid for it used but like new. Great knives. Not legal here but I was working at the PD at the time so figured I was ok. Now I just don't care.

Colonel,
Automatic knives are legal here in SC. I will hold it for you if you like :-)

Thats the one right there. I think you've even reminded me of the Moorhaus brand more than once. That plumb makes my britches stick out in front. Wish they made a scaled down version of that. I've seen tiny versions that fit in the palm, but I'd like one about half or 2/3rds size.
This is what I carry everyday. I've had 6 or 8 but gave them away. From Nepal.

I recently got this Civivi that pairs well with wood and parkerized steel. Chinese, but smooth operating and super sharp.

Right.
And I struggled mightily on how to respond.
In the end, with waiving the $200 tax fee and engraving.
I folded like a cheap lawn chair.
Submitted the required ATF EForm 1 SBR paperwork.
And the approval came in today ;)
So my baby is Good to Go!

Did they send you a real tax stamp, or som kind of e-stamp. Also, one day long from now when you get old and can’t or don’t want to manage them, what’s your plan (maybe let someone else worry about it which ain’t a bad idea)? Not being nosy or anything but I’m pondering some stuff myself and haven’t decided yet….
if you don’t want to say I understand.

No $200 tax, so no tax stamp.
I did the Eform 1 thingy and just got back an email with a PDF of the APPROVED paperwork.
Just printed all four and am storing with the weapons.
Have had a silencer for some time and did it without a trust.
Never intended to do the SBR thingy.
This caught me by surprise.
Silencer Shop does the EForms for $50 a gun.
They are discontinuing this service in about two weeks.
And I think the end of May I would become a felon without action
So for a quick $200 insurance policy against the ATF/FBI.
I quickly submitted four individual forms with the intent of being approved prior to that time.
I'll likely have a trust formed later.
And have all five NFA items transferred to the trust for inheritance purposes :)

Thanks. I have thought about the trust which seems the best way to go. and I was wondering if they would send a stamp or just the approval.
From what I read a few years ago I think the whole trust thing used to be easier to add members back then, but it still sounds best for inheritance reasons.
thanks for that info.
