So I scored a used like new PM9 just waiting for it to arrive at my FFL. My question is I'm just wondering when it was made it has an "IF" serial number prefix. I'm excited to get it.
I'm not new to kahr arms as I don't probably about a half dozen including this one over the years if my last one being a PM 45 I've only pulled steel frame and polymer frame problem with any I found it would be very well made high quality reliable firearms perfect for concealed carry.
Thanks for any info on this everyone. I'll be sure they post pics and a range report when it arrives this week.

I think if you send Kahr an email they can fix you up.

My PM9 has a IF4xxx serial number, and it was many years post the production problems, plus it has the later rear sight dovetail.
After making sure it was well broken in and well lubed per the factory lube chart, mine's been 100% reliable.
HTH, and congrats on the score!

Djd100 thank you for the reply my serial number is also an "IF4" prefix what year was yours made? I've emailed kahr arms per the adi d of another member here about my guns date of manufacture but no response from them yest which is normal as Zi emailed the this last Friday night. I'll have the gun this week when it gets to me FFL. I'll be sure to post pictures and a range report. I've owned several kahr arms guns over the years and have never had an issues with any of them, before or after the break in period.

Hi, no, I've never checked once I confirmed there were no manufacturing issues associated with it's serial number (a run of early ones had barrel issues), and I can extrapolate from the following that it's post 2011 (I bought mine barely used).

Do update if you get something definitive from Kahr?
Enjoy!
