Kahr's black diamond finish?

I'm considering a PM45 with the blackened stainless or their black diamond finish I think it's cKked. For those here who have this finish how does it hold up too rust and does it scratch easily? If it scratches easily and doesn't hold up well I'll just go with their stainless. Thanks for any help.

Hi Kahrfan, I have a DLC PM9 I have carried in a pocket holster every day for more years than I can remember and I’m guessing here but it has at least a couple thousand rounds through it and the finish is still perfect and I’ve never had a single failure of any kind…..The DLC black finish is very durable and holds up well, I have no wear marks on the slide at all and I don’t baby the pistol other than a little Slip 2000 lube on the rails every now and then so I wouldn’t worry about Kahr’s DLC finish at all, it is good quality…….

I have a PM45 with the DLC. Would I buy it again, yes, you can bet your sweet ass, I would.
