PM45 old slide vs.slide differences?

Hey all so I just purchased a new PM45 from guns.com. according to the serial number it was made on 2013. As we know Brandi new guns can stay in the pipeline for years. They use a stock photo for new guns so I don't know if mine has the older slide yet. I should have it early next week.

My question is does anyone here know when kahr changed the slide and recoil spring assembly on the PM45? I've read on here that there is a new style vs. old style recoil spring assembly one is longer the other shorter.

I did a Google image search and think I found the old style PM45 it looks like both slides are tapered but the newer slide sticks out a little further like it's a slightly longer. Is the slightly longer slide the newer slide style or is the shorter slide the newer slide style on the PM45?

Longer slide is newer. Older slide really isn't beveled. More square. Both are good, many prefer the old style. Just have to know which you have when you order a recoil spring is all.

Bawanna thank you for the reply yeah I do notice they have to do the Google image search what you said is correct it's not like the old blunt nose PM9 versus the new tape and one the PM 45 sports seem to have the same type of slide just one is slightly longer and one is slightly shorter as you said. My PM 45 will be as my FFL either Monday or Tuesday looking forward to receiving it.
