While putting the slide back together on my P380 together after cleaning yesterday I noticed the striker block spring has one closed end and one open end. (like recoil springs) Does anyone know which way it is supposed to go? Thanks, Dan

I don’t recall mine having an open end so I looked at a photo I took when my CT380 was disassembled. It looks like both ends are closed on mine. I would put the closed end down.

Well, Maybe I spoke too soon. The Kahr parts picture shows closed both ends. Dan

If you were correct in your first post about your current spring, I'd put the open end in the hole on the striker block. That way the open end is guided by the hole's wall. If you gun has functioned correctly until now, I doubt there is any reason for concern, but a new spring is always a viable option.
