I just purchased a Kahr CW40. Ran 100 flawless rounds through her and I believe it's going to be a long blissful relationship. I noticed it had a bit of a bite but not enough to affect accuracy (knocking down smalll steel plates at 10-15 yds).
Cleaned her up and she sits in a Don Hume Jit holster at my side :). I must say it is a good day.

Glad to hear you had a good time. I had 2FTF before I was finished with my break in period. That worried me alot. I read a bunch threads here and stuck with it. I have had no issues since. The CW40 is a great compact handgun and so much nicer to carry than what I was using. I love the trigger and everyone I show it as well as myself, loves the weight of it. I was used to a single action, so there was some getting used to carrying a DOA. But in hind sight I should have done this years ago.

Nice to hear a positive experience right out of the gate. Most people only post their initial experiences if they had an issue. My CW40 gave me 2-3 hiccups in the first 50 or so rounds but has been flawless since then. Great gun, great potential. Just make sure you always put the slide stop under the slide stop spring every time you reassemble it and you'll be fine. Thsi is the #1 complaint I see with new Kahr owners "My gun locks open after every shot".

Well put Frank, that is the reason that I was able to get my CW40 for a good price. The first owner had bent the slide stop spring by not putting the slide top in correctly. She had it sent back to Kahr to have it fixed but she needed a Firearm and didn't think that she could wait for hers to come back, so she bought something new. Kahr not only replaced the spring, they replaced the slide, barrel and the slide stop spring. I got a brand new Kahr for the price of a used one. This tipped the scale from a new PPS to a Kahr. I saved a chunk of money and have never looked back. I love my CW40 and am very happy with my choice and the performance of this fine handgun!
