You know, I’ve only known one girl named Irene. I went to high school with her and she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen at that time. She was a brunette and was French. She was also a black belt in Karate and beat a guys a$$ during a demonstration in the gym one time. She took 2 pair of foam nunchucks and beat the guy until one set broke then she took the piece she had left and continued beating him with that. Guys were scared to ask her out after that, except me. So I asked and she kindly turned me down. She was as beautiful as that picture you have on your work bench colonel (no disrespect intended and good for you.)

Thread drift. I went to a wedding of a friends daughter in Oklahoma last month. Started having a conversation with the father of the groom. He was a nice guy. Him and his wife had been talking with my wife, and he later told me that I stepped above my league when I got my bride. I told him I have to agree, but if you don’t aim high you don’t know what you can reach. Maybe you and I both might have gone out of our league, but good for us I say. It’s worked out pretty well.

I wish I could redo High School. All the girls I was afraid to even talk to. That being said many of the best looking girls then don't look all that great now days. I got very lucky for sure. Maybe a late bloomer or something but a trophy wife for sure.
