Night Sights

Sent my P380 in for Trijicon Night Sights, not so much on the Night sites themself, but, I can pickup on the end of the barrell faster 2 dots in the rear and one in the front, makes a big difference to me and of course in the dark for Night shooting.
First the P380 I think is the Best 380 on the Market Feels and looks like a Real Gun, NOT a toy. And for Customer service, Melanie was there when needed and the Tech Support was also there for Questions and FAST srvice.
Sights look Great and work great.

For me Kahr is a Top of the Line gun Maker and has Good People working for them, that is what keeps me coming back.:D

That's a good reason to get the night sights... 3-dot sights. All of my guns are 3-dot... the NS ones... especially all Kahrs. I've never used the post and dot type and don't want to mix things up.

I don't like the stock, white post rear sights either, and just remove and re-install them backwards.
Let the bad guy stare at it.

I like the factory post and dot sight alot! You think I'm weird? Maybe I need some sort of evaluation? Probably my 2nd favorite behind the XS Big and standard dots.

It's not the white post as much as that undercut I dislike.
That undercut belongs on the front, "out of sight", for me.
I wish I could cover that undercut with a marker...but cannot.
It draws my eye to the rear sight.

Everybody's wierd in some way or another :confused: I haven't done my K9 yet, but on my other pistols I blacked out the rear white dots. Seems I need to get busy doing that on the K9 now that I know I'm keeping it. All I want to see is the front sight. Once you get used to it, makes aiming faster, for me anyways. :cool:

Just a Question: Do woman shooters like the Night Sights as Men do, I like them because I can get on the sight faster and it just feels better. I just never hear of Females using them.I know alot of woman have eyes like a Bird. Any Woman shooters out there use them or care about them?
It is Nice to see woman getting in the Shooting Sport.:)

Bawanna', those Big Dots you just got with the Tritium bar rear sight must have been just perfect for you then. You can certainly see those suckers... brighter than my little dots.

It's weird how all of the women don't hang around here that long... but maybe it's weird they did as much as they did with all of the weirdness here... sometimes. :w00t:

I'm looking to get a set of Trijicons installed on my PM9. Where did you send your P380 for your sight installation?
I'm assuming that you just sent the slide?

I sent them into Kahr, they had it approx 4 days and returned back, just call Tech Support and they will give you the price on the phone. Some say it is Not worth the money to have the Factory do it, but, for me I trust there Gunsmiths to work on my Gun.

Forgot to tell you, I sent the whole pistol because I had a FTF several times and wanted it checked. So while they were checking the Gun I told them to Put Night Sights on. Warranty saved me the Shipping both ways.

Kahrs gunsmiths will do it right also. I would say it's well worth sending it in. And you can just send the slide which saves immensely on shipping. Historically it's a pretty quick turn around for sights also.
They or any other sight maker that installs have the right stuff to do it correctly.

Thanks for the info and the replies. I'll give Kahr CS a call and set it up. I have a sight pusher for Sigs, but the Kahr slide is too small and it won't fit in the pusher.

I'm getting so used to mine I just point and shoot.
The sights don't mean as much anymore.
Specially with my eyesight going.
I was amazed when I started to realize I'm not even looking at the front sight anymore and still hit the bullseye.
I love my CW9. :)
