My first post as I just inherited a 44 mag from my shooting buddy. It is a 44 mag and the magazines are dated 2-86. Serial # is early 21,000.
Doing my own searches I think this is the first year production of the 44 mag. Can any of you confirm or supply further information. It is a nice one! Still in the box with all tools papers, etc. My buddy put one magazine thru it then stored it in the safe.
