To all, whatever your beliefs, however you celebrate the holidays, may you have a good, safe holiday. I'll be relaxing with some apple brandy or maybe a Limoncello and sour. We have Xmas lights up year-round in the kitchen, so no big deal...:p

I second that. Kind of snuck up on me this year but tomorrow when the family and grandkids along with my relatively new grandson arrive it will be real.
Merry Christmas.

No fancy gifs, but I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and good wishes for the coming year.

I don't even know what a gifs is. (I'll look it up) But same here, everybody have a Merry Christmas. We'll have a house full of family, my new grandson and dogs. Be a mad house and thrash and trash when presents get opened. Should be a fine day.
Had to give up coffee, trying to cure my guts, but think I'll have some today, don't need a headache on Christmas.

And always remember Santa knows.

WISHING YOU ALL A MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

MINE STARTED OUT A LITTLE ROUGH. HAD WHAT I THINK THEY CALL AN INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER IN THE BACK YARD.

Quiet day for the wife, dog, and I. Went to church this morning, but not the dog. Wife made a breakfast casserole from a recipe her mother gave her. First time we ever had it, but it was good. We are on our own this Christmas, which can be a very nice thing. Our son came by yesterday as he has to work today. I made a couple of batches of English toffee (old family recipe) and my wife made three different kinds of fudge (reg. fudge, mint, and peanut butter). Made up a few gift boxes with the candies and brought them to neighbors the past few days, still some left over for us. Dinner will be Black Forest ham steaks, and whatever sides she fixes up.

Only a few presents to open, but mailed out a few more, to include some deer sausage to my b-i-l. The grand kids got fishing poles as they all love to fish. I think the best present was my wife finding a ring she thought was lost a couple of years ago. It was in the gun safe tucked away with some of her other jewelry. I look at that ring and think about the 69 Camaro SS I could have gotten instead about 20 years ago. She did have tears in her eyes when she brought it out to show me, so I guess that is a good thing.

Hope all got what they wanted, and if you didn't you at least pretended you wanted it. Merry Christmas to all, and a Happy New year to boot!

Merry Christmas everyone! Ours was quiet, had a late breakfast and opened gifts…..My youngest son surprised me with a S&W FPC 9mm folding carbine…..Wasn’t expecting that but it’s cool, I like it, My house pistol is a M&P 9 so I have a bunch of mags already and can’t wait for the weekend to try it out……Hope everybody had a nice day and Mele Kalikimaka to all!

Merry Christmas to all!
Had a traditional Christmas meal with my dad and some of his neighbors.
My youngest daughter bought me an Ancestry DNA test kit earlier this year for Christmas.
Was worried initially, as my ex-wife was a dumpster fire.
But everything worked out great!
Sometimes the good guys win.
Sent my grandson a case of 9mm ammo - LOL!
He really liked that ...

Travelled to Christmas to meet with our 4 adult children (and their partners/spouse) and no grandkids yet, so Christmas started and ended very late for us.
Dinner was about 12 pounds of pork ribs (6-hr slow cook; next year I’ll start a few hours earlier, but they were still magnificent), and my eldest daughter’s legendary Mac n cheese. She also insisted on a commemorative family photo, but of course it took a while to herd us boys into compliance, so she and her sister dolled up and mugged for the camera while they waited for the rest of us to get our act together.
Merry Christmas to all of you familiar handles & avatars on my short list of daily must-visit forums, and hopeful New Years wishes for us all to enjoy a healthful 2025.
