We finally had snow here last week for a few days. Usually after it stops it doesn't take long to go away but it's been very cold. Roads are clear again but the yard etc isn't going away at all. Rumor is we might get more tonight or tomorrow.
Don't matter to me, I don't have anywhere I need to go anyhow. Wife might not enjoy it as much as she has to do all the outside stuff. Packing firewood, along with feeding her horses and anything I can't get too.
Been many days I never even went outside. That can't really be right I don't think.

No snow here this week, but for once it was colder outside than inside the hospital.
Had a heart ablation surgery yesterday.
Electro cardiologist must’ve had a problem because it took them 4 hours instead of the usual 2 that everybody says.
Didn’t sleep at all last night at the hotel, probably because I had that 4 hours of unconsciousness and my chest is still pretty sore.
The two cather incisions in my groin don’t bother me at all..
Anyway, we hope this will put a halt to the a-fib attacks and keep the old electric distributor pulse rate working normal after all the healing is done.
Kinda sucks getting old.

We got about 4" yesterday and supposed to get another 3-8" today and tomorrow. The temps are supposed to be frigid. It's minus 2 degrees as I type. Minus 10 tonight. We're finally getting our sense of taste and smell back after being sick for about 25 days. Two bad flu's going around. Pretty much all covid. Soon, we'll have to get 48 vaccinations every year. Each flu is different, so one vac doesn't work for another. All I know is that the wife got the covid vac and booster. I didn't. Both of us got just as sick for just as long. Not regretting my decision. A person could be real smart staying the hell away from the public during winter.

Getting old ain't for the weak that's for sure Army. And now we know what youth being wasted on the young really means!

You're exactly right bb. Stay far, far away to live a healthier life. Barring that, keep your distance and carry hand sanitizer. Everywhere.

The better half always yells at me because I don't want any snow. I always say, until you're the one moving it, don't want any. We do need the snow. Way behind on totals and we've had a few fires because it's been dry. I say no snow. It can rain more in the spring to make up for it........

We are above average right now for snow. Jan and Feb are usually the low snow/colder months. We tend to get most of our snow in Mar/Apr/May, but we did get a lot in Nov/Dec. Just got a little dusting but supposed to get even more this weekend.

Oh, that picture was taken after the week long heat wave we had last week. Melted most of the snow and ice on the driveway, which is always nice this time of year. We got a few inches that night into the next day. Temps plunged the night before the picture, low clouds passing through didn't drop snow but we ended up with a heavy frost on everything.
