Since completing my CW40 covert a few weeks ago I have had a lot of people asking me how big a difference in actually made in the overall length. Measurements really don't help when people are trying to visualize a "before" and "after" so i made this quick little graphic to help you see how big a difference it really is.

On a CW the cut is roughly 1/2 of the 11th dimple on the front to 1/2 of the 16th dimlple on the backstrap.

Sweet. I see it's time for a Senior transition celebration also. Welcome to senior status for what ever tiny bit that might be worth.

Thanks Bawanna. I know what I want and am not usually afraid to take it on. In the end I always end up with something that works perfect for me. Here's a shot of the gun with my Glock 23 (other EDC).

Wow, that Glock looks huge next to the Kahr. Great work on that covert. Just wondering, do you experience your shirt grabbing either of those pistol grips when IWB carrying?

Thanks,
The Glock is an RTF2 model so it tends to grab a little. I have sanded down the edges on the last rows (horizontal and vertical) and this has alleviated most of it. The Kahr doesn't exist when I wear it. I forget I'm carrying it most times. Its the perfect balance for me.

Here's a shot of the two backstraps.

Thanks for backstrap pic. Your project has got me thinking. :D What holster do you use most often for the CW40?
