K Guide Rod

Do the new k series come with the steel guide rod or is it the aluminum one? And if so when did they switch to including it?

I concur, always steel. Both my old and new K9 are steel.

bristro, Where did you hear the guide rod is aluminum?

My K9 Elite came from the factory with a steel guide rod that was black in color.

I have since purchased and installed a factory stainless steel guide rod which I like better.
