Recently I bought and attached a Crimson Trace to my PM9 and dawned on me in order for me to pull this off is to get a separate pocket and IWB holster for them.

My previous ones exclusively from Pocket Concealment Systems does not seem to have them.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have the mitch rosen clipper and 2 matching double mag holders from him and there all extremely well made and comfortable. I wouldn't hessitate to recomend his products.

See my post
http://kahrtalk.com/pm-series-pistols/4403-new-leather-pm9.html

I have the CT laser trigger guard on it and the holster was made for it.
It's custom but awesome. It takes awhile to get as well. I used a Crossbreed supertuck while waiting.

Anybody have first hand experience with the MiniTuck from Crossbreed?

I do, I carried my pm9 in it until I got my TT gunleather for about 5 months. It is a good comfortable holster. I own 3 crossbreed's for different guns. They work and are very comfortable.

If you have any PM series, go to the Kahr site and they offer several. I have a gould and goodrich that has a change over to belt or paddle and love it. I also have a pocket holster that I use most of the time from www.pocketholsters.com (http://www.pocketholsters.com) $60. Well made and hides the gun print. There are several holsters for the PM with CTL on the market. They also work well without the CTL.

I read that for pocket carry, the DeSantis Nemesis will accommodate a Crimson Trace laser but the newer Super Fly will not?? Can anybody verify this?

Thanks everyone for the input and a thousand apologies for the late response. I ended ordering two custom ones from Jim @ Hidden Holsters - Expertly Crafted Pocket Holsters (http://www.hiddenholsters.net/) one pocket and IWB respectively with both being custom-ed :)too bad wait time won't be till February 2011 :(

Its a damn shame as I have two beautiful lnib from pcholsters that won't get as much use any more...

Look at my post for PM9 CT laser holster.
I have a large photo of my new pocket Hidden Holster.
I like the fact that the PM9's handle is completely available for gripping and pulls out of the holster and the pocket easily. A very good fitting and functioning design.

DM Bullard makes nice holsters for the P series with CTs attached. Some of his are ready to go right now and he also does customs with a long turn around time.

P380 custom took 8 weeks. PM9 off the shelf arrived in a week. Very happy with both. Mag pouches are included free with David's pocket models for the Kahr.

Those DM Bullard pocket holsters look nice...closed at the muzzle.

I can verify that neither will accomodate a CT laser. I tried both today at the local gunshop.

Closed at the muzzle isn't a good thing, depending on who you speak to... I like open so the muzzle end doesn't collect crap...

Wouldn't an open muzzle allow pocket lint in there?

Yes, but it's not accumulating there where it has nowhere to escape. My muzzle definitely gets a little bit of lint in there from my pocket, but it doesn't stay there, gets wiped off etc from rubbing against my pocket. With the closed-end, you just accumulate more and more and more crap in the holster until you have to take the gun out of the holster, clean up your gun, and somehow get all the crap out of the actual holster.

Like I said, everyone will have a different opinion on this. I personally find an open-muzzle holster easier to keep clean - both the gun and the holster. :)

The superfly can be gotten to accomodate CT, from the Kahr web site.

Will also have your gun sitting lower in your pocket. As much as maybe an inch over some closed holsters. Might make a difference in some pants pockets as to whether or not the gun can be seen like from someone standing in line behind you at a check out counter.

I prefer a closed end holster. Every once in a while I spray it out with some canned air (the kind you use on a computer).

The open end holster leaves the muzzle exposed to all the pocket lint. There is not anyway pocket lint that is at the bottom of your pocket can get into the holster.

Absolutely. I feel like this discussion is going on in two threads now, hah, but yes, with a closed-off holster I would not be able to pocket carry, for sure. Would sit up way too high.

I always buy clothes with deep pockets so that's not an issue for me. I can see where it could be an issue with shallow pockets. In that case the open end would be the better option.

I can verify that the Blackhawk #4 pocket holster will fit a Kahr PM-9 with the LaserGuard LG-437 from Crimmson Trace. No modifications required. Perfect snug fit. Price: $10 - $12.

I did some searching within KahrTalk for PM9 holsters W/Crimson Trace.
And there’s a LOT of threads! Some in the PM series, some in Holster.
Even though I mention “W/CT” it seems to be the same with or without CT.
After a while you begin to get what seems to be working. Here’s how I see it.

For the pocket:
DeSantis – Nemesis or Super Fly (one old, one new-which is better for the PM9? I’m not sure that it has been established that they both can be purchased for CT) Cheap price.

Fist #5 –I like the idea of the push feature-you can probably do this with all the pocket holsters. I don’t like the idea of having to re-grip – correct me if I’m wrong but I think that’s called combat – grab it and you there – all one motion – when the s*** hits the fan I don’t want to be fumbling around trying to re-grip the PM.

Hidden Holster

Smart Carry: (The other pocket!)
Some guys love this option. It’s kind of stealthy, nothing screams GUN than a 3 or 4 o’clock draw. You also don’t have the “I’m carrying a gun IWB” feeling at the end of the day. Cheap price

IWB:
A lot like the CBMT, to me, it’s too much holster for a small gun.

Mitch Rosen Clipper-what’s to say, nice leather holster.

Remora – the Remora has a cult like following (non-lawyer spokesperson), it can go in your pocket or your waist, but you can’t tuck your shirt in. Which for me is ruins the point of concealed carry. I want the option to be able to tuck my shirt in. With today’s style (shirt tails hanging out) some don’t care. I sometimes go to functions that require my shirt to be tucked in.

Top dog daddy on this forum seems to be the Silent Thunder – I read a lot of old post and came to realize that Tucker and Garrett had parted ways. Sorry to hear that Rob. I thought that Garrett made the Kydex for Tucker and Tucker made the holsters. There are a lot of post/threads lovin this combo of Kydex and leather.
So, are the ST’s still top dog daddy?

So, what’s your carry?

I use a Blackhawk #3 poecket holster. Cheap and works good. The #4 probably works better, but mine has been stretched out a bit.

For my PM9 with CTC, I've got a DeSantis Nemesis, Silent Thunder and a Rick Pollard special. All three are great and have different purposes - all highly recommended.

Great pocket holster for my CM9 and it works with the Crimson Trace:
http://stickyholsters.com/

For the CM9:

I use this for my CM9 and one for my Taurus TCP.

Great product.

BTW: I am just a customer, and not affiliated with them or paid by them. I just simply enjoy their product.

Yep, Silent Thunder is still top daddy! It is available for the CT also.

As for the ST story, Garrett always made them but Tucker was/is very respected in the business and he liked the design so they had a marketing agreement. Tucker finally got "Tuckered Out" and sold his business and that's when Garrett pulled the marketing back.

As for Garrett, they have been military and law enforcement agency suppliers for some time and still are. They know what they are doing and have always been the ones standing behind the ST even when marketed by Tucker.

Finally Ron and Sheryl Garrett are just good folks to do business with. Call or email if you have questions and they are glad to answer your questions and help you find the right product.

See my signature line for links - and no I have no affiliation with them other than like them and their products.

Edit: just realized we don't allow links in sig lines here. Try these:
