PM9 ejector...uh oh...

I just finished cleaning my PM9 after another flawless range session and I discovered something. My ejector is loose and will rock up and down in the frame a tiny bit. Never, ever noticed that before, so I can't say if it's always been that way. Can someone else with a PM9 see if their pistol does this? Thanks.

No FTE malfunctions...yet... Sure hope this isn't the start of something that's going to worsen over time/more rounds fired...

A little up and down movement is normal. I dont have one but we've encountered this before. My PM45 and K40 both move a bit too.
It ain't broke, don't worry about fixing that one.

It's just rather odd how, after hundreds of cleanings and field strips, I never noticed it before. I'm usually pretty thorough...

What's a little bit? Mine's pretty tight. There's just the tiniest bit of lateral movement and almost none vertical.

Vertical...no discernible lateral play at all. It "tips" up and down at the chamber end. I'd say 1-2mm. Yeah, not that much, but it was enough that I noticed it today when cleaning. And, I've cleaned it a LOT and never noticed it before. That's why I was asking. I hope it doesn't get worse. I was wondering if maybe the polymer had compressed in that area to the point of the ejector fit starting to get sloppy.

My P380 has less than 1mm movement in either plane at the forward edge. I'm not gonna take the PM45 apart. It's a real PITA to remove the slide lock pin now. I need to go shoot that some more and see if it loosens up. Other than that, the PM45 is fine.

Don't worry, it's normal for the ejector to move horizontal & vertical a tiny bit. It does it on all of my Kahrs.
