For OWB wear, I like Galco's Yaqui slide: http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterPG1.asp (http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterPT4.asp)
It holds the pistol close to the body, is adjustable for tension, and light weight. An added benefit for me is that the same model works with my Glock 27. That it also fits other Glocks, such as the 17,19, 22, 23, 26, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, and 36, makes the chances of finding one at a substantial discount from the MRSP quite favorable.

I learned that if it fits the Sig P250, then it'll fit the Kahr. Also, a 3" bbl 1911 holster works well for some. Me I use an Ace Case tuckable or a Don Hume IWB that I have no idea which model it is, as I got it when I bought the gun.

I love my Crossbreed mini tuck. Very comfortable for all day carry and is extremely concealable. It also allows you to tuck in your shirt which is a must for me.

How is the CW45 in appendix carry? Any problems in the Mr. Softy...an the pistol poking into "sensitive" spots...;) ? I use a Mr. Softy now and would get one for another pistol in a second.

It has become my preferred method of carry, it suits me much better than on or behind the hip. So I think it works great, no problems with poking and such as the pistol does not ride extremely low and it is not a long pistol anyway.

Excellent, 99% of the time I appendix carry.

Excellent, 99% of the time I appendix carry.

I will add, while it is an inexpensive holster it does the intended job very well. Supports firearm well and for me at the right height, it also has a smooth draw once broken in.

I previously tried a custom leather holster that was molded specifically for the CW45, had a slide guard and basically was a lot more holster....that was a problem, it was thicker, heavier and the particular one I tried did not have the correct ride height for appendix carry. It printed like crazy. The Mr Softy conceals very well because of its slim nature and overall design.

I would be interested in hearing about what you use.

I'll do one better, pics :). My current EDC is a Taurus PT709 Slim(easy boys...) I use a "converted"(from a PF9) High Noon Mr. Softy and for occasional OtW a Yaqui Skin. Its true the minimalist Mr. Softy is a world of difference from other ItW holsters I've tried and its got a prefect ride height....

My EDC for the past 6 months has been a Taurus 740 slim(very light weight 40 cal.) but you'll be happy to hear that last night I purchased my first Kahr, a CW45:).I'm taking it and 150 rounds of ammo to the range this weekend to start its break-in session. Although I really like the 740 slim,I'm hoping that I have found a new EDC. BTW...I too have found that it fits nicely in the holsters I have for my Sig P250(Desantis Tuck-This II)IWB holster.

Brommeland gun leather does most of the Kahr line, and I know they do the P45 / CW45 because I sent him the dummy gun for it. They currently are building some gear for my P45. I have used Brommeland's gear for several years now and it is some of the best designed and executed leather gear on the planet!

I have a drawer full of holsters including the crossbreed. I hate to think about how much $$ I've wasted on these mistakes. I finally had one custom made and the difference is amazing! Try Kellogg Custom Leather. This is a college kid working on the side making hand stitched leather holsters. I paid $130. and got my rig in a couple of months.

Just got back from the range with my new CW45. Fired 175 rounds of 230 gr round nose thru it with only 1 FTF. Very pleased with this gun and I'm actually amazed that the recoil was as manageable as it was.I put a Hogue Jr grip sleeve on before taking it today and was very pleased with the way it felt. I did shoot some 185 gr +p golden sabers thru it. WOW! Now that's throwing some fire! I think my wife can have the Taurus 740,I've found a new EDC:)

Let me know if you want to get rid of that 740. I'm in the market for one and I see it moving up on my list. Then again, being the gun whore that I am, there's a lot of stuff on the list, and a lot of movement on it too.

The 740 is definately here to stay. It's a great gun that's extremely comfortable to carry and hasn't left my side for the last 6 months, but now that I have this cw45 I will probably not carry it as much. That being said, my wife just got her concealed carry permit and really likes the Taurus. She grew up shooting and has enjoyed range time with the 740.Ater checking out several handguns it's always the Taurus that she comes back to as being the most comfortable to her.The super light 40 cal. really doesn't have the recoil that you would think it should. It's got more of a snap to it than a 9mm would have but is very manageable.Definately one to add to your collection.

I think I just may have to do that. Christmas approaches which means November's money is tied up, with my grips and what not, but December looks good. Now i just have to decide which gun gets added that month.
