Welcome and let us know how they run. Any wife that instigates gun purchases and swaps and picks a 40 for herself gets high praise from me.
I aint really into funny colored guns, especially pink but I've been around long enough to understand if it pleases the missus, make it happen, damn the torpedoes or the cost.
Read Jocko's proper prep thread in the tech section and the great lube diagram there also. It will help get both those new babies working for ya and perhaps save some grief.

I wish that I could say that my wife loved or even liked my CW40. She has never fired it or even given it a chance. It never stood a chance. Many years ago she fired my S&W 686 and that was it for her, she never looked back. When I bought my CW40, I tried to show it to her and she wouldn't have anything to do with it. She just walked back to the bedroom and pulled out the 686, and stated that was all she needed. I would cover my Kahr in pink if I thought that would make a difference, but it wouldn't, I would just be stuck with a pink Kahr for my daily carry.

I'll be interested to hear how the K9 compares to the G19. The only reason I don't get a G19 is I want the size of a K9. Still saving up for one...

OK..........Wait ???????????
The OP joined in Mar 2010..........and...................YOU joined in Aug 2010.
And, YOU are welcoming HIM to the forum ???????
I AM SOOOooooooooo confused ???????? OK , I admit it....the 70's were hard on me. But, Damn if I can figure this one out ?????
It's the resins that build up in the valley of your brain. It makes you overthink things that are quite obvious to people without the build up.
Ya see 1937 was leap year which shortens the duration of time respectively between March and August in consecutive uneven years following same. So in this instance the party of the second part namely franco 45 is perfectly legitimazied to welcome the party of the first part namely tbreed725. Now had this been October a whole different set of criteria would be in place to address the lack of forsaid leep year in 1937.
Hope this helps.

Crap, now that would certainly change things some huh? I hadn't taken such a circumstance into consideration. I guess I'll have to rework the formula.

Say what? I must have resin build-up. But ya' know, the more I read it, the more sense it makes. Now I'm really scared..
