Just looking for info on any change in handleing characteristics when going to the shorter grip. I have 500 hitch free rnds through my CW9 and considering the modification to enhance consealability.

should have just bought a PM9 and be done with it. No doubt the cw9 grip willgive you a different feel that one the size of the PM9. They do covert the cw9 though and it looks really nice but unless you can do it yourself to save the bucks and then u still need the PM9 magazines which as u know kahr magazines are not cheap in price and then your cw9 magazine will still probably wrok Ok but will look like crap hanging out the bottom like that to.
Not sure the small benefit will out weight the cost. you still have a 6/10 inche longer barrel lenght over the PM9, If your still gonna waist band carry I see no real advantagoe, other than wanting to do it, Which there is nothing wrong with that idea either..:cheer2:

Yes I understand the PM9 but I I didn't like the feel of the PM 9 in my hand as well as the CW9 (balance) and I actually like the lines of the CW series better, go figure.
I also thought I could change out the floor plate and get rid of the protruding mag but it still sticks out.
I really don't find the .6 in in length an issue for consealment Now that being said I still have no problem with the CW9 as it is.
