Walking Dead TV show

Anybody watch this new show on Sunday night 10:00pm about life after the zombies take over? Somebody told me it was really good so I watched the first episode on comcast select cable last night and it was great...I thought it would be stupid but it has a good plot, good acting and lots of cool guns, (the main character shoots a 6" colt python) lots of shooting and realistic head shots to take out the zombies (viewer discretion advised)...There is also lots of survival stuff since there is no power of gasoline available which is cool.... TV week says it's the highest rated new show ever on cable...There have been 2 episodes so far and I'm going to watch number 2 tonight after the CMT awards...Give it a look on Sunday night AMC network at 10:00 eastern...

The Walking Dead tv series is awesome. I've read some of the graphic novels and was really looking forward to the show. I can't wait for the next episode to come out next week. Haha I sound like a nerd saying that i've read the graphic novels.

How about a video game to go with it. A good one where U gotta kill zombies and survive stuff, earn money and gun upgrades then get to custom build a fort and defend it from a wave of zombies. Gotta have LOTS of diffirent guns though and they cant be chumpy or wussy. great iron sights option. first person shooter/survival. u know, all around awesome!

There's a game very close to that called Left 4 Dead. Very cool game.

I like it too. I reminds me of several other books and movies I have seen over the years, such as The Omega Man ( mid 70s movie starring Charlton Heston), I am Legend ( 50s vincent Price movie) , Steven King's novel The Stand.

I guess I have always been fascinated by end of the world scenarios.

Yea I watch it. The surprising thing is my wife actually likes it! Did you know you can win a chance at a walk on role as a zombie?

Not exactly the same topic, but One Second After, by William R. Forstchen , is one of the most "possible" scenarios that COULD happen tomorrow.

If you read this you'll definitely have some worries... not zombies, but all of the "cockroaches" from the cities spreading out into the countryside to share your stuff... whatever you have... a real WTSHTF scenario.
