I took my new CW9 and shot it yesterday. I shot about 150 rounds through it. Some blazer brass, Winchester White box, and some speer gold dots. The first few mags I was shooting off to the left, Got used to the trigger and then started getting closer to the center....but still most were a little to the left. No malfunctions at all it ran perfectly. The gun has very little recoil, it feels like I am shooting a heavy full sized gun. I did not try any one handed shooting, I would get FTF's with my Kel-Tec PF9 if I did not have a firm 2 handed grip. It threw all the brass to the right and back about 3-4 feet....Very nice! I could never find my brass with the PF9, it would throw it about 25 feet away! :)

The only negative was when I went to clean the gun it was extremely dirty, The chamber seems very loose. The breech and some of the slide is disscolored from all the hot gasses escaping.

Congrats on the new pistol. I love mine, I think the trigger is the best DAO trigger I have felt. It's long but smooth and not as heavy as my j-frame, and I won't even compare it to mu LCP.
Mine was dirty but I don't remember if it was discolored on the breech I'll take note of that next time I go.

funny enough I was shooting left also, when i was going to put night sights on it I was going to adjust for that. I ended up ordering a crimson trace. I am glad you like it, great little guns. Mine was also filthy!! grab a can of gun scrubber to clean that thing. have fun with it!

If you think it was dirty shooting factory....you haven't seen anything until you shoot reloads!

There are a few reasons why I bought the CW9 with one of them being able to shoot my reloads through it. Now experimenting with a different powder and hoping that it is a bit cleaner than the last.

Make sure that you keep the slide rails (and slide) well lubed.

I was able to keep the majority of my rounds centered during the inital break-in but then again, I also shoot my SP 101 3" 357 revolver almost exclusively DA. Trigger pull and sight radius is much the same as my CW9.

Great pistol the CW9! Congratulations and Welcome to the forum. I have 800 or more rounds through my CW9 and I have noticed the discolored area around the firing pin. One feature I instantly liked about the Kahr is how easy it is to clean. Shoot safe!

would care less if it discolors on the breech. Some times we can even get primer creep "flame". Just shoot it like u stole it. If it goes bang every time, ur way ahead of the game.:yo:
