It warms my heart to hear Jocko express a desire for anything 45.

You won't believe me but I had a dream last night where Justin Moon contacted Johnh and told him they had a brand new K45 done and wanted to reward kahrtalk members with the first 6 off the line free to kahrtalk members. John for whatever reason assigned me the task of figuring out who gets em. I kept 5 for myself and gave the 6th to Wynn. (lie). I wouldn't do that.
Anyhow I determined there was no way to narrow down the list to 6, so in addition to the 6 free ones, he gave everyone on kahrtalk first priority on the new gun and a 100 dollar factory discount.
And everyone lived happily ever after.

PS- I didn't even offer one of the 6 to Jocko cause I didn't think he had any use for a 45. I'll hit the refresh button on my dream cycle and amend my ways.

PPS- We're getting buried in white stuff in the NW today. Maybe the van being messed up was a blessing in disguise. Course it ain't gonna get fixed in this stuff either.

I did my survey 4/10 - here are replies. I sent them on to person I know at KAHR and got a favorable reply - something like "maybe we will make them". Do not give up hope :) I want a 7 KAHR garage - tax

I think a K and MK would be neat in that caliber. I know there are other choices in that market segment, but the Kahr would be a flatter profile gun than some of the other small, metal 45s. I would think there would be a positive reception in the gun community. JohnH – forum administrator

Polymer outsells the steel version ALOT. Probably why we won't see an all steel K45. Would be a super nice gun, but I seriously doubt if it would be a big seller. If one notices when other gun companies introudce a new gun, it us usually a poylmer version over an all steel version. Jocko

I'll take one any way I can get it. I know many are quite enamored with that black stuff, guns, tire sidewalls, cars, pres's but I'm kind of into shiney so stainless will work fine for me. Course iffen they only make black, I'll buy one of those too if it helps the cause. It's all about change or staying the same which now days is different. I'm a firm believer in finding something that works and stick with it. VW really messed up when they quit making the original beetle. They'd still be a hot seller today. Bawanna

No way dude this will be a 3 way struggle for that first one. I think it would only be fair that the 3 of us get one simultaneously. I liked the way the K9 fit my hand, and the fact that it was made of STEEL. I've never really liked "plastic" guns.
Give me a K9 in a .45 (i.e. K45) and I'd want one - badly - for times when I don't want to carry my 1911.
Whether I could afford one or not, is a different story.
I think they should. I even asked them a few weeks ago. I think it would be awesome.

I think there would be a marketing/sales niche for such a gun and would not mind having one. The trouble with asking for a "niche gun" is that, if and when the manufacturer tools up and stars making one, nobody actually buys them. (Think 9mm revolvers.)
I just wish Kahr would make a .22 conversion slide that would fit my K9, CW9, PM9 and P380.
Everyone wants plastic pocket guns these days.
Personally, I think a K45 would be awesome. I wouldn't mind a T45 either. Relatively speaking, the T series are still fairly compact guns.

I only got 2 kahrs now and your wanting 7 so I guess I could take 5 K45's or MK45's or any combination there of, if only just to keep up.
I'd like a T45 too but don't want to muddy the waters, definitely K or MK first.

Well if we're gonna do the back to back thing walk 10 paces, turn and shoot, I'll have to put an odometer on my chair. I do have rear view mirrors so I'll watch for that mugger jlottmc fella although I'd hate to have to blast him for wanting my toys, thats human nature.
I reckon since your blessed with the gift of hearing and the only one of us that can carry on a phone conversation with Mr. Justin I might as well concede and settle for # 2 if it's still on the block.
I'm sorry you don't negotiate, you must be the king or your castle for sure. I negotiate every moment of every day just to wake up without a double bit axe in my chest.
You can have the snow, I'm already sick of it and the cold. The suns out nice today but the road still is not good, and I'm not up to snuff either.
