Big debate in my mind at this moment and I need some help and others personal experience. I've got the Kahr bug really bad.
For Starters:
1. I have a CW9 that I LOVE. I love this gun. Shoots like a dream. Carry IWB when I carry it and it's not bad. I love this gun. Did I say that I love this pistol yet?
2. I also have a LCP. I can front pocket carry this 24/7 in anything I wear. Always do if I'm not going to work. Goes bang every time. It's not a 9mm though. Not as smooth as my Kahr, but it was $100 cheaper too and serves it's purpose very well and it was pre-Kahr.
3. I made me a chart on size (L, H, W, and oz.) of the CW9, PM9, future sig 290, and my everyday LCP. The PM9 looks like about the best of them all. Cant afford a Rohrbaugh  and I don't know if I would buy one. Not enough reviews out there that I have seen.
My question to myself:
Can I front pocket carry the PM9 about as easy as my LCP? No gun shop near the house has a PM9 so that I can try see how it feels in the hand and how it fits in the pocket?
How do others like the PM9 front pocket all day? I'm a tall skinny guy if that makes a difference.
If I would only IWB carry the PM9, I'll stick with my CW9. If pocket is a real option, the PM9 is on the list.
Anybody want to loan me a PM9 for a week to see how it fits? :D
Opinions from personal experiences please. HELP
Thanks

I own a PM9 and have carried it all day when the weather is warm in my front pocket in a Desantis Nemesis holster. I wear the 5.11 cargo type pants. It has deep pockets and I have had no problem. The gun is the size of a lot of .380s. I think you would like it.

Bawanna is the go to guy around here for that loaner. I have a pm9 and carry it both IWB and front pocket. The answer about whether it fits for that front pocket purpose revolves around if the pockets are big enough. I use a superfly holster for mine and it looks like I'm carrying my billfold in my front jeans pocket. With bigger, baggier britches, it disappears.

I don't think pocket room would be a problem. The wife tells me that my butt has disappeared over the last 20 years so there's more room. Funny, the waist has gotten a little bigger. I think things have shifted.

I'd love to loan ya the PM9 but its reserved for the forseeable future. Ok, thats a little white lie but momma says a little white lie never hurt nobody. I don't own a PM9 YET. I do own a PM45, wanna borrow that?
I don't pocket carry anything including indian head nickels but many here do. I know for a fact that in additon to the embroidering on his jeans Jocko has one in his pocket nearly all the time.
ryoung a true legend in his own mind is known to carry a PM45 in his britches quite freqently.
It must work. Some go for small and opt for the 380, myself I'd lean towards bigger pockets and that PM45.

In all honesty, If I would have found my PM45 before the PM9, I might not have purchased the PM9. While the PM9 is a GREAT gun, I can pocket carry the PM45 just as easy. You should have no issues pocket carrying the PM9 if you are a fan of 9mm for continuity of ammo.
"Can I front pocket carry the PM9 about as easy as my LCP"
imo, no. the lcp is considerably smaller and lighter. lots of people pocket carry the pm9, but it is not as easy as an lcp. i iwb my pm9 90% of the time and pocket carry my p3at (ie the original lcp) the remaining 10%. i guess that whether the pm9 will fit in your pocket comes down to your size and what type of pants you wear.
would you consider a p380? its basically the size of an lcp but the quality and looks of a kahr.

>>Can I front pocket carry the PM9 about as easy as my LCP?<<
I concur with joje, the answer is no. There's a big difference between the
LCP and PM9 in terms of mass and profile. Having said that, the only way I
carry my PM9 is in my right front pocket. I have both the PM9 and the
P380 and used to own the LCP. There's no doubt that the P380 and LCP
are easier to carry. With certain types of clothing, the P380 all I can get
away with. Particularly light wool dress slacks and suit pants. The material
is so thin on this type of pants that the PM9 tends to "swing" a little too
freely in the pocket. I'll usually carry my P380 when in my "Sunday Best".
For the PM9, I carry that in a DeSantis Nemesis. The top draw design lets
me carry it in jeans with a lateral pocket as well as kahki's, chino's and
cargo pants/shorts. With the baggy, many pocketed cargo shorts that are
so popular these days carrying the PM9 is a cinch.
I always carry a reload in my left front pocket for both the P380 and PM9
also in a DeSantis Nemesis, one of my EDC flashlights in my left rear pocket
and one of my Spyderco's in my right rear pocket.
To answer your original question, without a doubt you should buy a PM9. It
is a work of art and just coolest little 9mm around and goes a long way
towards removing all excuses of not "always carrying".

I used to have "Sunday Best" attire, it's just getting harder and harder to find my size bib overalls and they are just hard for me to wrestle myself into and out of anymore.
I read that book "Dress for Success" too, never worked for beans for me.
So in summary I'd say get the PM9, everyone should have at least one.
PS-Nice to see a post from ya Michael W. You been gone much too long. I hope all is well in your world.

Thanks for all of the input so far. It looks like I'm going to need to find a location that has one and "try it on."
I like the 9mm because it lets me use the same ammo that I practice with a lot. Plus it's relatively inexpensive.
That said, A .45 does need to be put on my "things to get" list. I think I'm going to need another job to support my firearms habit. Good thing I'm as big into rifles as handguns. Thanks all.

the PM9 is just bigger than the lcp, soit is apples and oranges. The PM9 is 9mm and the lcp is 380, again BIG apples and oranges. Yes you can pocket carry both. I own um both along witht he P380 and I pocket carry my PM9 24/7 and hardly ever carry the two 380's. But it is bigger andit is heavier but it is a 9mm and they really don't come much smaller than the PM9, certainly nothingin thequality of the kahr.
If yor comfortable with the lcp, then pocket carry it, I wouldnot tellyo to buy a P380 now tha tyou have the lcp, both are just as reliable as the other and u certainly don'tneed two of them.
I would buy the PM9 but if your gonna end up waist band carrying then you have the best of tyhe best in the CW9. I wear jeans 24/7, ride a harley most of the time and yet my PM9 will ride with me allthis time. certainly not a fast draw area in front pocket but again, realy doesn't need to be either. I don't have to dress to carry when I pocket carry, ..
