I got a new Kahr!!!

Just saying hello from Texas. I bought a CW40 yesterday and I can't wait to run some ammo through it. My wife got real upset when I told her I went to a gun show and came home with a new Kahr.

Hello Craig and welcome to kahrtalk. Sorry to hear about your marital discord. Perhaps buying her a kahr and paying for shooting lessons and her bullets will smooth things over. That's all I got. If that doesn't work I don't know what to suggest. :cool:

I bought a CW45 a few weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with it. A few hundred rounds thru it with only 1 FTF. I don't think you can go wrong with the CW line.Do yourself a favor and go to the Kahr tech sub-forum and check out Jockos "Proper prep. of a new Kahr. Lots of valuable info. there.

Hello Craig and welcome to the forum.I liked the play on words.Might use it myself to grease the skids a little when I buy a new one.Maybe she`ll be so relieved that I didn`t buy a new car that she won`t mind my buying a new Kahr.At any rate,I hope you enjoy your new firearm and this forum.

If you want to smooth things over with the little lady, give her the same amount of cash that you spent on the Kahr and tell her to spend it on whatever she pleases. ;)

You may find that she stops complaining about your gun purchases if she knows that you love her enough to allow her the same freedom to buy the things she desires without having to discuss it with you first.

She may even start encouraging you to buy more guns knowing that she will be allowed to have equal access to some disposable income each time you purchase one. If you don't have the disposable income to implement this, then she's probably justified in her disapproval.

Buy the wife a P380, ammo & gun lessons because you worry about her, and a day at the spa. that will smooth everything out. Plus you can shoot the .380 too.

Oh, and tell her you got the least expensive of the 40 cal.
