I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm from western MA, just under 2 hours west of Kahr. I have many handguns, including several polymer framed models, a few wheel guns, some 1911's, etc. I've been licensed to carry for 39 years.

I read many posts on this forum before buying one of the new MA compliant PM9's a couple of weeks ago. The posts offer a weath of knowledge and experience with Karh products. The PM9193 is currently the only Kahr that is approved for sale in MA thanks to the AG's regulations (similar to CA). I've put a few hundred rounds through it, and am impressed with it's performance so far, and intrigued with it's mechanisms that allow it to be so compact. In particular, I like the fact that the axis of the bore is so low that it greatly moderates recoil. Now it's time for a CTC laser, holsters, night sights, a little fine tuning on my bench, etc.

I'm looking forward to participating on the forum ocassionally, and getting more familiar with some of it's personalities. Jocko and bawana45cal sound like they'd both make great neighbors.

And speaking for myself I'd love to have ya for a neighbor but you'll have to come to me, I ain't coming to you even for a visit.
I have your avatar as a screen saver on my computer at work, always loved that picture.
We look forward to your participation and I think you'll like it around here.

Nice gun the compliant kahr is really a nice addtion. Some people do feel they want a safety lever on their guns. the cocking indicator I could do without but again it is no issue either. I have yet to see one around this area..

I would not want Bawanna as my neighbor, he would be marking up my yard with his wheel chair, and I would think you might see his tire treads close to your bedroom window ALOT. !!! Now I would be the absolute perfect neighbor, except I would throw my empty beer cans in ur yard, and u would have to put up with a bunch of Harley's coming and going to and oh yes I do pi-s off my deck alot, at all hours. But I am friendly...

Aww man, the places I could have gone with this back in the old days like 2 weeks ago.
Now all I can say is we could put rob in the middle and we wouldn't technically be neighbors, curse at each other when we drive past.
That tinkling off the deck, we could .......control Bawanna, control, we're not going there.

I love you Jocko, I truely do. Not in any kind of unnatural mano mano type way ya know. I think we could really liven up a neighborhood for sure. It would be a blast.

Line of the week, jocko, definitely line of the week. I really laughed out loud when I read it. Lucky for us you are full of wisdom and great advice, and sometimes we have to work to get the pearls! Just like real life I guess, almost anything that's worth anything has to be worked for! Just keep on being jocko please.

Now, as for you and bawanna45cal living in the same neighborhood, not sure the world is ready for that yet.

I'm not sure theres a neighborhood ready for us either but it would be a blast. Heck we'd party everynight till probably 7:30 or 8, no doubt.

Milk shakes at noon, naps at 3. Heck yeah.

Then there's me. I would have to live across the street so that I can keep an eye on you two. One thing's for sure, there would be no shortage of armed individuals around, and a shortage of crime.

If jocko and Bawana45cal moved into my neighborhood, I'd consider taking down my signs.

Eh leave the signs up if you like to advertise. Might be kinda fun to see if someone takes them seriously and tries something. I bet they would get a rude awakening. I have a better idea, lets move you guys out to a more gun friendly state, then we can have some real fun.

Now that's a good idea. Seriously, after hearing the horror stories from certain parts of our great land (that once were great parts) it's a mystery to me why someone would put up with all of the rules, regulations and all-around nonsense. Only thing I can figure that would keep me tied down is 1) if family lived there or 2) the company I was working for would make it worth my while to be there. But even then, commuting from NH sounds like a good idea to me.

No big deal at all, Mr. jocko. Spell-check or not, your wisdom and experience with Kahrs is much appreciated and sought after here and we like hearing from you when you have the time. I know it was unintentional on your part and I hope you know I wasn't laughing at you, my friend - I was simply chuckling at how close compliant and complaint are. And with some of the CS complaints and horror stories coming out as of late, it was unfortunately even more timely than usual.
