Nice job! That baby is sure throwing the brass consistantly. The last part you can clearly see each case is following precisely the same flight path.
Shooting range is much more scenic than mine too.

Thanks for putting that up for us.

Good job. The slo-mo is an especially nice touch, as well as the sliding scene changes. Well done.

This is a good video.

It shows functionality with just a round in the chamber and no mag inserted, and it shows rapid fire slide cycling and extraction of brass empties.

As soon as I received my new Kahr CW9, I immediately went to the range with 240 rounds of FMJ and JHP ammunition, with the goal of trying to get my weapon to malfunction.

If it did, I'd know the limitations, or better yet, be able to come up with solutions to those limitations.

I was unable to create a malfunction of any type despite some pretty extreme measures.

I should have recorded the session, but was by myself, and didn't have the ability to use a tripod and outdoor range.

I ordered another 500 rounds of 9mm, and will try and get a malfunction of any kind, and will also try to record my range session this time.

Thanks for posting.

Is the path of ejected casing a function of grip or what? My Colt tosses them everywhere.

Grip is certainly a factor that effects the path of ejected casings, but extractor design/tension/, ejector length/shape, cartridge rim shape /thickness, ammo quality/consistency, slide speed, and probably some other factors I've failed to list have an effect as well. I've even seen magazine feed lips effect the ejection path.

Thanks for all the comments guys. The targets were not much to look at. I am pulling most of my rounds to the left.....I'm gonna blame that on the long DA trigger. Dang...I'll just have to shoot it some more.

Cool! My PM40 also throws the casings in the same place. Must be a Kahr thing. Nice.
