I've had a few small 22 cal plinkers and decided on a new one to try. I just ordered a Sig P229 in 22 cal. I saw at one time you could order a centerfire conversion for a p226 to convert from 22 cal to 9mm. I am making an assumption the p229 in 22 cal is just a p229 with a rimfire conversion that they sell. I'm hoping I can get a centerfire conversion kit to eventually have 9mm as well as 22 cal. I have some digging to do, if I can't get a conversion I still wanted a good quality semi-auto plinker so it's not a total loss. Any sig guru's here?
