My latest purchase. I traded in a problematic Taurus 709 for this.
The CW9:

First 50 rounds:

I used the WWB that the 709 wouldn't cycle. Not 1 malfunction.
Next 25 rounds:

Then some Federal JSP factory seconds. $9.99/box. Again, no malfunctions. (Largest circle is 6" diameter.)
I used the two brands that the 709 was known for not digesting, and they worked perfectly. My next test will be more Federal, some Remington, and possibly some more if I have the money. I also need to start feeding some SD rounds through it. Any suggestions?

Excellent trade. It sounds like your having very good luck out of the box on this one. It's a great gun.
You just need to work on that trigger pull, that's whats throwing your groups left just a tad but not enough to get too worried about especially this early in the game.
If your using the pad of your finger you might move in a little closer to the first joint. I'm not even sure what hand you shoot with so we won't even go there. Your doing fine, keep shooting. It only gets better and better.

Correct. Right hand shooter. Right eye dominant. Any more advice will be appreciated. You won't hurt my feelings.

Congrats on the new CW9!
When I bought my Glock 27, I experienced the same "low and left" syndrome many new to Glock, right-handed shooters have. I found switching to a "thumbs forwards (http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en#hl=en&expIds=17259,27732,27743,27788&sugexp=gsihc&xhr=t&q=thumbs+forward+grip&cp=8&pf=p&sclient=psy&site=webhp&aq=0&aqi=&aql=f&oq=thumbs+f&gs_rfai=&pbx=1&fp=7b9141da4f416ce8)" hold helped me immensely with this and has stood me in good stead with my Kahrs as well. Fact is, I use "thumbs forward" when shooting all my semiautos now. If you don't use it already, it might be worth a try.

Greg

I am a left hand shooter, left eye dominate and my groups with my pM9 are low and right. This is just typical of kahr shooters who have yet to master the loooong trigger system. Takes some rounds down range and good trigger discipline, and I guess that is something that I ahv enot learned to well in the 30,000 rounds through my PM9, for I am still low and right, not alot but it is there.
armed pacifist...I'm about to be in the same boat, although my PT709 took awhile to start giving me trouble, I can't trust it now as a carry weapon. So I'm going back to Kahr. I was going to grab P9 but I financially I can justify it with the CW9 being such an awesome value.

Thanks for the report..... I am getting ready to drop the dime... (well many dimes).... on a CW40 when I get back to town. Good luck with yours!!
While I like my Glock, am finding it is a bit too large for e.d.c.
