Either add it as an attachment using the paperclip in the top row of the message bar, use the Insert Image icon in the second row of the message bar if you're using an image housed somewhere on the Web, or put the full Web address of the image between these tags:

There are two ways to post a picture. One by copy pasting URLs and other by attaching files in manage attachment while creating/ replying to a thread.
I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR PICTURES.

I'm envious of the higher definition photos and need to find a site to use for posts. I've only used flickR a little bit and need to figure how to limit the viewing to membership here or something. The public at large doesn't need to see posts of weapons and get "excited".

I'm also tired of the same stuff at the top here forever!:D

I use Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket (http://photobucket.com/) to host my pictures.
First you have to create an account there at Photobucket.
Load your pictures into your computer, then use the "upload now" tab on your Photobucket page.
Once your pic is uploaded all you have to do is place your cursor over the pic.
A dropdown box will appear, choose the bottom choice IMG CODE.
Place to cursor on that line, right click to highlight it.
Left click and choose copy.
Go to the forum and open thread at which you wish to post a pic.
after you begin your post just left click again, choose paste and that's it.

Thanks, Ripley. I'll try that, but I just took some pix of CorŽBon 125gr. +P ammo that I'm going to post -- my latest and last order from the deal at Cabela's. I cropped and re-sized those to 640x480 which, for the subject, is okay.
Thanks, again.
Wynn:)

This thread is kinda old, maybe I can experiment here? Not sure which is the "avatar" and which is the "my picture". Here goes nothing...

Did it work? It's not really that big, it's the angle. The hole in the front is pretty big,
still wouldn't mind having a PM45, but that would only be 3 shots, right?

Not sure where I stole this one...
Looks like it's working, guess I just never took the time to figure this stuff out...

just trying out my prowess at inserting images:
this is using the "Insert Image" icon and typing in an URL for a pic on the web (50 KB)
