I'm about 600+ rounds into my p9 when I pull back on the striker and wipe it off it's dirtier than I like. How difficult is it to disassemble it for cleaning? Are there any exploded diagrams available. Your advice is appreciated

go to the kahr tech section and hit on propper preppingofyour new kahr. It tells you how to perfectly clean that striker area without dissasembly. Simple as hell to do, no need to take it down..

A detail strip of the slide is not overly difficult to do:

Dang that GB is wicked fast. I just found that thread and was gonna post it.
Once again Jocko's right, (this is getting really old) but as GB says it's also not difficult and I found it enlightening to see what makes the top end work. It's very similar to a Glock although the striker spring wants to seek life elsewhere very easily. Working inside a bag the first time is a good option. Once you see how it works and know what to expect, you won't need it with a little care and caution.
The bent coathanger also easy to make should be considered mandatory equipment, it's just a saviour and makes thing way easier.
