Slide release difficult to press

Has anyone had a problem releasing the slide with the lever on the CW45? It is really hard to press for me and my wife finds it impossible. Any ideas?

Figured it out. When in doubt read the manual. Loaded mag will make it easier.

You got it. Reading is such a drag to do first, isn't it? ;)

I sold a P45 to a guy a while ago. The first thing he did was rack the slide, with an empty mag inserted, checked the chamber, then thumbed the release down and slammed the slide home.

I asked, "How did you do that?" :confused:

He didn't know it wasn't supposed to happen. ;)

He bought it.

I went home and had a bowl of Wheaties. :o

it can be done, just easier the other way... wheaties might help to...
