Are the 4" ported and the 3-1/2" drop in barrels interchangeable between the P9 and the CW9?

How about the machined slide stop lever and the metal-injection-molded slide stop levers - are they interchangeable between P and CW series pistols of the same caliber?

Last question: If the frame on the CW9 is the same as frame on the P9 - are the slide assemblies interchangeable between the two?

yes and yes, not sure on the slide part.. as the cw9 shows 5.9" in length and the P9. 5.8" and I am going to assume that is the slide difference.Probably recoil rods wouldhave to follow the slide to, as the P9 recoil rod should be shorter by a tad, again not totally sure of that either.

I have never read of a MIM slide stop lever of kahrs ever breaking.

I looked on the Kahr websight and they have the same one listed for the CW9 as they did for the P and PM all where about $25. If I ever see any wear on this MIM one I will order a machined one then. I have not read of the MIM stop failing though??? anybody hear ever break one?

Off subject question for you. How does your new CW9 compare to your PM45? size, weight, ease of carry?

MIM= Metal Injection Molded

if u had a slide stop lever break on a K9 IT WAS A FORGED (machined) SLIDE STOP LEVER. Kahr only puts the MIM part on the CW series...
