Just got a used MK9. Are there any known ammo brand issues I should be aware of? Thanks

treat this gun like a new one and go to the kahr tech section and hit on the kahr lube chart. It is a jim dandy, then hit on PROPPER PREPING OFYOURNEW KAHR. It is also a jim dandy.

Kahrs are not ammo sensitive but if yoiu find a round that doesn;'t do what it should, just find another brand. Nice gun, now just shoot it like u stole it.:D

Agree with the comment about MagTech. I've had the occasional issue with their 9mm 115 FMJ. Found cartridge length can be inconsistent within the same lot and won't use it anymore even for practice. It's a confidence in reliability issue....don't need out of spec ammo confusing things.
