I recently bought a PM40 with night sights in black stainless with two mags.

When I first saw it in the case I thought that it was a 380, maybe a 9, too small for anything else. Smaller than a Walther PPks. Neat. Fun to shoot. Nice trigger for a pocket gun.

I am happy with it.

Congrats on your new gun. Do yourself a favor and put AGRIP on it. I have the same gun and love it.

Slynchee, I would worry that agrip would be harder to pull out of my front pocket holster. I'll do a search. My gun is not actually new just a pawn shop trade in, no box or instructions <load point and pull trigger :)> Ive shot it about 100 rounds of FMJ, I am not a hollow point type of guy.

You should buy a lottery ticket! I have checked all the pawn shops in my metro area and never found 1 Kahr. I did find a couple used Kahrs traded in at retail stores but they wanted new price for a used guns. NO THANKS.
I ended up ordering a new PM40 from a very resonable dealer in Avoca, IA. Paid less for my new gun then I would have for the used guns I saw.

face it a front pocket carry in a holster of any type is not a fast draw area. I doubt if the Agrip would slow it down one bit, but might just add alittlel comfort to the gun. I hav ecarried my PM9 in my front pocket for over 4years, It rides nice there but I never considered that area a fast draw area, probalby the sl;owest place on ones body, maybe except the dreaded "ankle carry".

Nice thing as u well know about pocket carry is that you really don't have to special dress to carry there, so you have a plus in that u will carry it more than likely 24/7 and u have the elimate of surprise over the BG to..

certainly small, it is certainly light, it is certainly a pocket rocket.. Nice gun, lots of recoil..

Congrats on your PM40 find. Lucky! I have Agrips on my PM40 and I also pocket carry. The agrip material is marketed to NOT stick to clothing. I have found this to be true. It will NOT slow your pocket draw at all. In fact, the extra grip on the hand (flesh) will speed your pocket draw but the difference will be minimal. The agrip is good for times when you hand is sweaty. The material actually improves the grip with damp or wet hands. You will like the feel of the agrip material in your hand. It is very durable. Check out the PM40 section of the forum. In this section you will find a thread on Agrip and how to apply it to the base of your mags to eliminate the stainless glare and improve the grip on the mag. I really like the agrip product and the PM40 with a CTL. I do not find it to have lots of recoil...just pretty standard 40cal recoil at best. The PM40 is a very pleasant gun to shoot, but then again I don't compare it to the recoil of 22's, 32's, 38's, 380's or 9's. 40's and 45's stand alone, as does the 10.

Yep Greaaat find! I like your choice of bullets. I do not have any grip mods to my PM40, do have CTL, pocket carry. Nice to not have to think about shirt!!! Yes pocket is slower than OTW holster, which is slower than on the thigh holster.
Life is a bunch of compromises. Recoil-- yes there is some but very controllable and surprisingly mild for a real 40.

I don't have any problems with cc in the front pocket. I wear military/police style BDU's every day. No jeans. I am using a 6 dollar holster that I was given by a state police trooper. I have since bought others identical.

I have had guns as big as a compact Glock in my front pocket using this holster, the triggers are always covered.

Scum, did you pay 450, like I did? I went in once never knowing what I might see, checked the price and compared it to others on gun broker then went back.
