:confused:I'd like to get a barrel for my PM40 that has regular land and groove rifling so that I can shoot cast lead bullets without fear of the pistol blowing up.

Does anyone know if there is somthing like that available? If so, where?

Thanks.......

I think your also worrying about something that if u clean your barrel every 200 rounds, you willnever ever ahve an issue. Hell thousands of shooters do it. Also, with time, your not gonna be buying elad cast bulelts either. or for that mattere ven findind lead weights etc. Most car shops today use lead tape oh weights and they just throw the old stuff away, as they are none reusable even.

Another thibng, if yo have a smitty in yor area that is worht his salt, just buy a cw40 barrel and have him cut it off and crown it for you. Not rocket science to do that.

Thanks for the replies. I guess the answer to my question is "no, there aren't any".

I cast my own boolits, and have a lifetime supply of wheel weights on hand, not to mention an unlimited supply of them at the nearby recycler's (30 cents a pound).

I guess I'll just have to be fastidious about my barrel cleaning regimen on the Kahr.

Thanks again!:)

Have shot many thousand rounds of lead thru Glock 19 with polygon, NO problems. Have hundreds thru P-45 and PM40. But did Tetra the barrels first. Makes cleaning much easier.
