To start with, I replaced the recoil spring in my CW9 with a new one. I took 170 of my possibly problematic loads and re-seated the bullets to 1.130 from 1.140+-. I had previously installed a new striker spring. Made sure the gun was properly lubed and went to the range.
Today I shot 40 rounds with no problems. I also shot 5 rounds of +P loads to confirm function. I had the strangest desire to push on the back of the slide with my thumb but never needed to. I also tried the same rounds in a BHP with no problems either. Primers were mostly Winchester with a few CCI's mixed in.
Hopefully the problem is solved. The gun seemed to run solid today. Thanks to all you guys for the help and suggestions. As gman suggested on another post, I'm going to check my striker protrusion just to be sure but it seems to be running fine now.
