I'm sorry I never looked at this pistol years ago. It is awesome. I'm over tiny pistols with half grips. This is thin, full grip, and light. Just waiting for my holster from Kahr, and I'm in business. Starting with the mitch rosen iwb clip holster.
I tried the pm9 a few years ago, but the small grip just didn't work for me. It seemed to be too heavy for it's size as well. The kahr p40 I tried kicked like a mule, and was too heavy. The P9 is just about right.
Pretty pistol as well. I took it out for it's initial break in period. 75 rds mix of fmj and some lead reloads. it did well with both. the reloads were hardcast and didn't leave any lead deposits. No fte's or ftf's at all. I like kahr's recommendation of 200 rd breakin, but certainly doesn't seem to need it.

btw: looks like you already picked your holster, but for a simple ItW I've always liked the Don Hume 715...DH just came out with a new model of the 715 with a "body shield" I have a black one on order from Gunner's Alley

All black P9, quality ammo, Mepro night sights, grip sleeve if one so chooses, and a quality holster... all combine to make a very competent and reliable CCW. I'm partial to the Mitch Rosen Premier.

I agree that the P9 is just about perfect. I traded a K9 for a used P9 yesterday. The lesser weight is so much nice to carry and I don't believe the kick is any worse either. It fits perfectly in the IWB holster I used for the K9 and I hardly know its there.
About 8 years ago I also owned a P40 cover but the short grip and the kick of the .40 was more than I wanted so I traded up to the K9. Anyway, I guess third times a charm!! P9 wins=)
