Hi everyone. I just found this sight and guess Im the newest member as of this moment! I dont have a Kahr yet but have been looking at the pm9 for a couple of weeks. I like it a lot. I also have a Ruger sp 101 3 1/16th" revolver with hogue grips. As you can see i would like a semi auto as well.Something smaller for summer carry and also in 9mm. I know they are pricey but i can get one at wholesale cost. My Nephew owns a gun store so the price for me would be a lot cheaper. Im going to hang out here on a daily basis and see what all I can dig up on this item. CW9 or PM9, that is the question :) Anyway I know i wont be disappointed with either choice. glad I found this sight and hope to meet some new friends. The silver slide, black frame is what Im looking at,kp9093. Heres a pick of my SP101, I take good care of here.

Welcome to the forum! I'm down in Springfield myself....and yes, you will be happy with either a CW9 or a PM9....but I'm sure you will find supporters of both here.

Welcome, tconroy, we're glad you found this little place many of us call "home". Lots of good info, lots of good people. And as for your choice, you can't go wrong either way, both the cw9 and the pm9 are great guns - I went with the pm9 fwiw. Happy reading and let us know what you get once you decide.

Thanks, guy's. Im seriously leaning towards the pm9. It will be my CC gun and I love the thin profile of it along with the length. How is the 7+1 mag when you C&C? I will probably make a decision on thursday when I go look at all of them. I work for Tracker Marine so we go to the range all the time to shoot. It is free for us employee's. Im printing targets out right now for today.:D

You`re leaning in the right direction,my friend. The PM9 is one of,if not the most popular model of all the Kahrs. The 7 round mag is only slightly [and I mean barely worth mentioning] more difficult to conceal than the flush mount 6 rounder.Personally,I cc with the 6 round and keep the 7 as an extra. There is a ton of useful information on this forum concerning the break in period and prep and cleaning of your new Kahr and that`s not to mention highly knowledgable people. You are welcome here and we look forward to hearing about your final choice. One word of caution;Kahr handguns are addictive by nature.Don`t be surprised if you can`t stop with just one.
welcome aboard!

Welcome from Lees Summit!
I recently got the P9 for my primary CCW and am considering the smaller P380 for BUG/summer pocket pistol. The P9 feels sooo good in my hand and just dissapears when needed.

Welcome from central Ohio. You couldn't go wrong with either choice and the CW9 would be a fine cc gun but, I personally like the small size of the PM.
