A handgun magazine that holds 30 rounds??? I heard he had a Glock, thought it was a 9mm. Do 30 round mags even exist for pistols?

Glock 18, all 9 mm Glocks use the same mags. The 18 is a machine pistol.

Yeah theres some insane high capacity mags for the Glocks, stick out the bottom about a foot. The 18 uses it up so fast you almost need it. Course regular folks round us ain't allowed to have 18's so not much call for em. Still see them alot at gun shows and guys buy em up. Good paper weights to me.

The Virginia Tech killer used the extended Glock mags as well. I can see them being pulled from the market. All depends on how much hysteria the democrats can stir up.

remember...it ain't just the 30 round mags "in their cross hairs"....it's gonna be anything over 10... again. That covers just about all double stack handguns, which would include a large portion of the "compact" handguns, and almost all so called "full sized" handguns. Personally, I don't see this proposed ban picking up any real steam in the immediate future, but if it does ever get revived I have a feeling there won't be any slack given to "pre-ban" magazines next go round. There will be a mad rush to the single stack compacts and sub-compacts like never imagined, as those with the "high capacity" handguns will put them away rather than insult a 15-16 round handgun with a 10 round libmag.

The Democrats may try to push something through, but that will mean more Republican votes and when they take both houses it changes back. I love my country, but I dislike the politics.

dem's pushing major gun control. i imagine its gonna be more like here in ma nationwide: safety classes, background checks & police chief approval for pistol permits, no pistols greater than 10 rounds capacity, official approval for firearms that are "safe" enough to be sold to public, valid permit to purchase ammo, gun registration & tracking, Etc... Even though history has shown that more gun control usually means more gun crime. criminals and psycho's dont care about laws. i just saw some nutty liberal dem on news saying "we need to stop letting people walk around with bazookas!"

The Dumbocrats need to buy a clue. It was a criminal that shoot those people, not a high capacity magazine. Why don't we just ban criminals?

Maybe they should pass a law that you can not shoot people in a crowd for the heck of it.
Maybe they should also make it illegal to buy a gun from a FFL if you are a dope head.

i think we might see a spike in pm9 sales as it looks like the feds are gonna push for a ban on all high cap again... my glock just doesnt feel right with only 10 rounds in it, so i guess it'll stay in nightstand w/ 16 in it. its been almost a year since ive really carried anything but the pm9 anyway.

In 45's I have one that holds 13, one that holds 12, and one that holds 10. [mags only] The rest are 7 or 8 except for the PM45 which is only 5. I usually carry a pistol with 5, 7, or 8 rounds and I don't feel under armed.
