Jocko sent me over here from the ElsieP forum where he was kind enough to respond to my question about a CW9 purchase; praised the gun and sent me to the "Khar Prep" thread here. Bought it last Monday, shot it Tuesday, had my LGS order a PM9 on Wednesday, picked it up and shot it on Friday. I love these guns! Shot again today so I've got about 325 rounds through each and the only hiccups were a couple FTFeed with the PM9 extended mag

Thanks to all of you and the posts which helped make my decisions, prep and maintain the guns.

Welcome to the forum CPO15. Jocko knows his stuff, when he talks I listen. Hope you enjoy your Kahrs as much as we all seem to enjoy ours. A couple of hiccups are not too bad at all when you're breaking the guns in. I had a few during break in and had to change my grip a little bit, but now my CW40 functions very well.

Welcome CPO15. You can't get a much higher endorsement than Jocko around here. I keep my stuff locked up so he dont shoot it like he stole it but other than that I don't know what we'd do around here without him.

Glad he sent ya our way, you'll like it here.

Would I be too stupid to ask what the heck a Elsie P is? Lets figure this out. It ain't nothing to do with a Harley, never heard of a Elsie P porsche, maybe a watch that isn't a tank Rolex? Gotta be a watch.

Ya wanna buy a watch? I know you don't got a watch, if you had a watch you'd know it be night time and night time aint no time to be in this here neighborhood.

ok bye

After getting the Kahr, my LCP is a now a closet gun and occasionally goes on trips in the shaving bag.

Oh crap, now I get it! Elsie P = LCP. Gosh darn I'm surrounded by rocket scientist around here.

I guess one of the downfalls of being closer to the ground in overall height is many things just fly over my head. This of course shouldn't be confused with overall length which is an entirely different form of measurement and discussion all it's own, course if the cartride is standing on end it could easily be called overall heighth so maybe it's exactly the same afterall.

Actually I added the last line to keep Dietrich at bay.

when my kid was about 5 he came running to me one morning complaining that something was wrong with the t.v. When I went to check the problem there was an old re-run of "The Rifleman" playing in B&W. After trying to explain to him that there wasn't the sufficient technology at that time in history to inexpensively transmit high quality television broadcasts in color... or the fact that only a small fraction of people owned color t.v.'s, I finally resorted to telling him that that's the way the whole world was "back then". I think he was in his early 20's when he learned different.
