Kahr Newbie

Hello folks....Picked up my first Kahr yesterday, a Kahr P45. Bought it at a local gun store....Appears to have never been fired...In the box with warranty card and paperwork...All black with night sights. Cleaned and lubricated it today and will try to get to the range in a day or so.....I liked the weight and thin profile of the P45.....The grip feels rough in the hand. Ordered a Hogue Handall jr grip for it. Any ideas for a Kydex or leather IWB holster for it. I will be looking to carry the P45 and replace my snub nose .38 with it...Need a deep cover IWB holster, spend a lot of time in FL.....Looking forward to meeting some of you folks here on the forum.

Hello ruhip, I am relatively new here myself. I think that your new P45 will most likely serve you well. I don't have any recommendations for a holster as I am still looking for a good one myself.

I myself use and love the blackhawk holsters for IWB.

I'd highly recommend Crossbreed holsters. I use a MiniTuck with my PM40 and it seems to disappear behind semi fitting clothes. Here's their website: www.crossbreedholsters.com

Hello and welcome to the forum from central Ohio! Congrats on the purchase of such a fine handgun. I carry a CW45 and installed a Hogue Handell Jr on it and it made all the difference in the world. I carry mine in a DeSantis holster but it's not leather. Very comfortable though, you might check out their site.
