Just picked up this little fellar last week and haven't had much time to check out the site. He's 11 weeks old and a Yorkie puppy. All us Harley guys have Yorkies ya know. His name is Crosby, named after Sid Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Wow....congratulations! Great looking "kid"! Wife and I have been Pomeranian people for 25 years but my sister is into Yorkies and we really love them. Great little dogs!

We already have 2 Yorkies, but when I saw this one I knew he was coming home with me. I've always been a big dog kinda guy....then 6 years ago my girlfriend and I got together and I fell in love with these little guys (she had 2). They don't shed, and they don't sh...t like a horse either. Plus we can take them anywhere. And they have such spirit....they all think they weigh 100 lbs.

Beagle. The short variety. I thought I had a better picture but didnt find it right off so I sent what I found.

I know the next one if there is a next one we're pay the extra 14 bucks and get one with a functioning brain.

A beagle actually won overall at the Westminster dog show a year or two ago, obviously in a far distant blood line than mine.

Shes a good dog just not the brightest light in the harbor. My wife and kids came home with it years ago, how cute, where did you find it. Oh Pet Smart. You mean you paid money for it. Ummm yeah. Heck a dog like that probably goes for 50 or 75 bucks. Ummm, more than that! Ummm how much? 600!!!:eek: WTF, take it back....................
No dice, mom used some inheritance money and she's staying. First dog I ever paid money for in my whole life.. Had some good dogs over the years, mostly labs.

I hear that. That's what happened to me. Then girlfriend now wife got me hooked on Poms. Different breed but same issues. We're now into our fourth, overlapping generation. Two at ten y/o and two at two.

yeah they are definitely affectionate alright. we established that we don't think you could have more boxers than humans living together because you wouldn't have enough hands to pet them..these suckers love attention

There must be a tall variety and a short variety of Bulldog too. Some stay short and some get pretty tall.

A dog thread is good. Whats not to love about a dog?

Had a Golden Retriever in my construction days and that dog was insane, it would climb ladders, walk walls, hang out on the roof, whereever we were at she was there.

In bad neighborhoods just leave her in the truck and nobody messed with it. Real friendly but didn't let anybody near the truck, like she knew her job.

His name is BARON VON RUFFHAUSEN, now five months and fifty pounds. Right after we got him, we almost lost him when he swallowed one of my wife's stockings, blocking his intestines. Emergency surgery saved his little butt...

one night tessie puked up one of my wife's socks. the next morning it took her 5 minutes to sh-t out the other one. good thing the wife has small feet!

another time when she was only a few months she swallowed a stuffed animal that wasnt gonna pass so the vet told us to give her a tablespoon of peroxide and it would empty her gut => it did & it saved us from having to do surgery and no ill effects on dog.

Here is our 7 pound terror. His name is "Goliath". First time we took him to the latest vet he was about 3 years old and we were the only ones in the waiting room and the lady came out the first time and then walked back in and re-appeared a minute later and looked at him again and at that point we caught on and asked if she was looking for Goliath. She said she was looking for a big dog. I told her to keep it down because he "Thinks" he is a big dog.

Yorkies are a cool breed and are very intelligent.

I'll have to find some pictures for this thread... loved the comment about the horse sized piles (or something like that!)... we used to have 2 retired greyhounds and they could leave some impressive piles in the yard! Unfortunately both eventually passed from cancer, but had wonderful lives. We've now moved to smaller dogs... we have 3 - 30lb schnauzer (we were told he was a miniture that wouldn't get over 18 lbs!), 17lb terrier mutt from shelter, and 16lb chi-wienee (looks like a baby seal!). The kids still have to watch out as they play in the yard...

like something Bawanna would lay to show a trail to his home. U know like on the movies, they use a blood trail, where as the wise one Bawanna is a follower of waste not want not>

It sure looks like A bawanna trail marker to me. I bet if you come back 6 months from now there will be animal tracks all around that market and human tracks also but no man or animal would dare to go where no man or animal has been either. So I would guess it could be called a "small" national monument and probalby will be there as long as the Mt. Rushmore figures..

Which reminds me about 6 years ago we were at Sturgis and staying in Keyston (about 2 miles fropm Mt. rushmore) and one of our riding buddies came out of his cabin and said , "I'm gonna go see the "heads". ..This young man never did well in history we could tell that, can't recall exactly but I think he road a honda to..so Go figure!!

I didn't think that anyone would ever hold a candle to Dietrich in this arena but I have to agree.
I would modify the sentence to read almost as GOOD as Dietrich, ALMOST.

Also always remember "I" before "E" except after something else I can't remember FWIW (forgot where I was).

I remember how I used to hate running thru a pile of doggie surprise on my bike when I was a kid, well it's nothing compared to running thru it in a wheelchair, I'll tell ya.

The goofy thing is like in an electric where at least it doesn't tranmit to your hands and you only get the gut turning lousey aroma, I find myelf checking my shoes to see if I stepped in some! Funny how sometimes our brains dont compute simple things, (or maybe its just mine) like turning on a light switch when you know the power is out.

I'm down to my last dog for a while (10 y/o - F -Boxer). I've found that I prefer the company of reptiles in the last 5 years. Less maintaince and the babies are worth lots of money. :D Captive breeding also keeps them from being taken from the wild. Have some other big snakes but no pics on the laptop.

Dumeril Boa & Panther Chameleon - both prego now

the reasoning for that is certainly understandable. I don't like the flying stingy things at all, and I can still at least shuffle (didn't say run) away from them. Now, snakes.... that's why I always carry a revo "in the field", with shot shells during the 10 month snake season here. I ain't about to leave mr no shoulders alive in the same trail I'll be traversing several times during the course of a project. Scare me once, shame on him... scare me twice..... there won't be a second time if I have my way:D

My daughter has a pet snake, a king snake. It's ok, no big deal but I don't like em in the wild While watching Billy the Exterminator, I learned that if a snake has eyes like a cat (slit) then it's poisonous. I always wondered if a person can get that close to a snake to find out.......but not get bitten. Either way I don't want to find out.

Don't mean to rub it in..... but just got out for a brief ride on the '96 softtail special this past weekend... we had a heat wave in the upper 50s on Sunday and I was cleaning out the garage to make a spot for my reloading setup (not ordered yet... not sure what all I'm waiting on!)... well the bike hadn't been started in a couple months so I got it cranked up and my son (6yrs old) came running... I promised him a ride and off we went... he still rides in front of me but is quickly approaching the size limit for that.... both my kids have been riding with me since they were 2 yrs old... been on various poker runs, etc... 6yr old in front, 10 yr old in back... quite a sight :)

better, I took the wifes new 2011 Street glide out this past sunday for a 75 mile nice ride. Now we have 2 inches of ice everywhere but it sure felt good to ride it even though it was only 37 out that day, for us it was a heat wave, and road were fairly clean. Now they are a total mess with sand and road salt. I have lived a good life here for 67 years and I have never seen so much ice EVERYWHERE and it looks like it gonna stay awhile to..

Jocko's photogenically challenged. 2 months is nothing it could be awhile. Best go to the Harley website and look at the pictures. Pick Sedona Orange and you'll have it.

I've thought about sending him a tutor but I need the tutor myself, that's tutor not tooter.

I waitin on a few pics of things he has myself too. Gave up holding my breath though I was turning blue.................
