Im looking at a used pm9 for 450 in excellent condition. I dont know a lot about but is has the box and the lady I talked to says it only has 1 mag with it. I dont know if she meant 1 in the box and the other in the gun or what. Anyway I going to try to talk him down to 400. This is my nephew who owns a gun shop. It has the stainless slide and I dont know how old it is but most of the people that brings guns to him need cash to pay off things. Is this a good deal or what. What is the warranty for cars that are repurchased???

Excellent price... period! Kahr's warranty is 5 years and is not transferrable. That being said, I've sent 2 used Kahr's back for functional problems and all they made me do was pay the shipping to them... they made the corrections and shipped back to me at their cost... YMMV.

my two cents, the price seem reasonable. if you can get the serial number off the gun you can go to glock talk site and hit on the kahr section and right at the top is their serial number history, it is constantly being updated. It will get you ver y close to the birth date of your gun.

Next thing for me anyhow. Kahr recently made a slide change this past year and the nose of the older style is blunted like a glock andit stops are the end of the grip dust cover also. The newwer slides are beveled ont he end and extend clost to 1/4" more in length. If that gun has the blunt nose, I would buy it in a heart beat as that to me is wha tthe PM9 was made for (concealment)My opinion so your may very, if your heart is set on the extended beveled slidemodel, then buy new. The birth date of the gun will also give you good insight if you have any real warranty at allcoming. If it was made in teh lat 5years, kahr willnot quesion ownership. They can tell by the serial numbers the age and if it is 8-10+ years old, they may not be as congenial about some of the service.

The price is good,.

If you are not sure of the age, I would check that before you commit; some of the early PM9's had a barrel peening issue (I believe it was in 2004).

sounds like a good deal. the times ive bought a used gun from a dealer i asked for a 30 day warranty for defects and have never been turned down. good luck

Not a bad price, but it would depend on the gun. A new one is $599 at my LGS. Don't forget that the CM9 may be out soon. I might pick up one of those if the price is right.

Thanks Jocko. I alway find your post knowledgeable and good reading I will look at it carefully. I printed out the SN#'s to take with me also. I will let you know what I find out (or if I purchased) tomorrow. Im thinking that it is probably broke in which will save me the $$ I would spend on ammo to do that and maybe all the "quirks" will be worked out. This is my nephew whom which I grew up with so he would not do me wrong.

going to look the the pm9 in an hour so wish me luck. I have the SN# papers and the recalls on the barrel too. I hope and pray it is in excellent shape and comes home with me. If so , the first thing is to clean and then go to the range ASAP!!! I will post results later. Oh need to pick up a holster too while Im at the range if all goes well.

I can assure you it will not have serial #'s in the barrel recall series, that was years ago and we taken care of by kahr also..

The Kahr pm9 turned into a cw9 but is in perfect condition but only has the mag with extension. All paperwork is there including warranty papers. the SN is EF0814 Is it worth 400???? Was a local cops gun who I know that traded it in for a glock

nice gun damn near new, as close as I can tell it is indeed a 2010 model and IMO late 2010 even. You can find um new for $400 if u look hard enough but if the gun looks great ask the dealer for a 30 day refund if it doesn't work correctly and see whathe says. Then buy it and shoot it like you stole it. It never came with two mags either.

IT'S MINE!!!! I bought the cw9. Could not pass it up. Talked him way down and it looks brand new!!! It is perfect condition and has all the papers and lock with it. It is tight and the feed ramp looks like chrome. I have already taken it apart and cleaned it and cant wait to shoot it tomorrow. I ordered the flat plate magazine to go with it and will pick up an IWB holster for it tomorrow also. The feel of the Kahr surpasses any handgun I have felt. Another happy Kahr owner :D:D:D

throw a Hogue, Jr. grip sleeve on it or a bicycle inner tube on it to take the sting out of the harsh grip. that's the only complaint I have with my Kahrs.

I shoot a Ruger 357 sp101 with 158gr 357 magnums. I feel your sting:33::eek:. i have taken it apart and put it back together twice just to do it. This is easy!!! also have an IWB blackhawk holster for my sp and it fits so so but at least I have it strapped on now. cant wait till tomorrow to go shopping and to the range!:D
