Went to my friend Chris's gun shop on Saturday intending to buy another Ruger LCP he had for sale the week before for $250.00 out the door but it was gone...Just my luck i thought, when I find a good deal I don't have the bucks and vice versa...Well got to talking to him for a while asking if he had seen the new Sig 229 mini 9mm and what he thought about the Kimber Solo...After a while he asked my why I wanted another Ruger LCP and I explained that my CW40 while small just wouldn't fit in a pocket and the LCP would...He said wait right here and went in the back and came out with an almost new black slide PM40 he had taken on a trade but hadn't done the inventory paperwork yet...Well needless to say, I was in love...Chris said the original owner bought it for his wife and she hated it and he traded it for a .38 revolver...Well I said how much for this little puppy and he said, how about $300.00 out the door? Well I had my wallet out faster than Quick Draw Mcgraw and am now the proud owner of the perfect pocket pistol...I would have rather had a 9mm but this was too good of a deal to pass up....Took little Blacky home and cleaned it up real good (it was filthy and I don't think it had ever been cleaned before) it's now good as new and I can't wait to put some rounds down range next weekend...The only thing I don't like is the magazine having a bright metal floor plate which looks out of place on an all black pistol to me but it's no big thing...I seem to remember another post where someone asked if Kahr had black magazines but I don't remember the answer, anybody know?

I sent mine off to a finisher and had a blackened finsih put on the entire magaznes. I agree it looks butt ugly but they are stainless so they won't rust.
Kahr does not have black magazines or black floor plates.
you stole that gun by the way.. I could certainly understand a woman having issues shooting the PM40, u will love it,nice gun a real pocket rocket and IMO it is pocketable to..
look up apwcogan.com. He does excellent work and they are not slow and they are reasonable but very very good. I think it is around $20 plus postage.
Get the Pierce finger extensions for the PM40. It'll help hold on too.

You did steal that pistol! Wow, that is a great price!

Yea I know I carjacked that little piece...I have known chris the owner for many many years, we went to high school together and he knows I only buy guns from him so he gave me a smokin deal on the pistol...He told me that his business was way off from years past and needed to sell something even if it was for little or no profit...He said business picks up in the warmer months after folks get their tax refunds back and have money burning a hole in their pockets but I know he did me a real favor and he knows I will be back when I want something else...Now if I can just figure out a way to convince the boss what a great deal I got...:behindsofa:

Good luck with that!!! :hungry: Good job on a great gun at a great price, I just hope you survive until this weekend to shoot it some! Yes, MSRP may be a feather in your cap, but don't let her know you could probably sell it for about $450 no problem or you may just have to do so.

Wow!! Congrats on a great find and a better price! I have only ever sold one gun and that was to buy my CW40, but I would sell another to get the $300 for a PM40.
