Federal and American Eagle issue safety warning
According to Federal, "certain lots of recently manufactured .45 Auto ammunition may contain an incorrect propellant charge." Gun owners need to realize that using ammunition from certain lots "may result in firearm damage and possible serious injury."
Those lot numbers are as follows:
* American Eagle (AE45A, AE45N1, AE45A250)
* Champion (WM5233)
* GoldMedal (GM45B)
* Hi-Shok (45C, 45D)
* Federal Personal Defense (C45C, C45D).
You can read more about this, and what action to take, by clicking here (wlmailhtml:{4A28566B-8035-4A61-88F9-2ACBE680D630}mid://00000014/!x-usc:http://www.federalpremium.com/pdf/45_Auto_warning.pdf) (pdf file).
Thought i'd pass this on.
