Did I miss this the last time I cleaned my gun or what?? I noticed a notch in the left side rail of the body part of the gun. Is this suppose to be there????? If so then why?

All is well, it's there on all of them. Heard different things but I believe it's like a witness mark for the molding process, a guide so to speak. No worry at all.

Thanks Bawanna! I knew either you or Jocko would chime in on this one. Jocko must be busy cleaning his gun too!:D 50 more rounds thru the pipe today. The gun is getting use to me, and I to it.

Jockos probably sittin on his idling Harley in the garage staring out at the frozen wasteland of Indiana waiting for a few minutes of warm so he can ride. I think Cabin Fever has a definite hold on him and hes anxious to break out.

Seems like every time I have a new gun I always find something I did not notice the first couple of times I clean it. Jocko, thanks for reminding me to change the oil in my truck today! We are suppose to be on a warm up here in Mo. country with rain for the end of next week. I hope it pours and cleans all this salt off the streets. My bike has so much chrome it takes 2 hours just to polish the chrome alone.:D

Im a Ruger fan also, have an SP 101 357 3 1/16th" barrel and just got a call from my local dealer who just got in 10 LC9's. I was looking at this gun before a bought my CW9. It is brand new and Im going to wait till it gets reviewed. Im just glad I choose the CW and did not wait for the LC9. I think from now on my purchases will be Kahrs!!!! Just thought I would throw that out there.6 cups of coffee on a Saturday morning will make one ramble.
