whats up KT'ers?? I made a quick review of the MK9 Elite 03 on YouTube... check it out if you're interested!

I've got approximately 650 rounds through it with zero malfunctions... Let me know if you've got any questions or comments! :D

Great review, very informative. I'm considering getting one of these to replace my Sig P238. Although the Kahr is a little bigger and heavier, it's a 9mm compared to a .380, which I'm not a huge fan of.

If you want to trade for a LNIB Sig P238 with Rosewood grips, night sights and 2 mags, let me know. ;)

Thanks man! Glad you liked the review :)

I'm at about 1000 rounds down the pipe and this thing is beastly! I've put the dirtiest reloads and the most premium hollowpoints through it with no issues. One failure to eject but it was my fault I was shooting one handed off hand and was wimpy on The wrist I think.

Anyways, I wouldn't trade it for anything short of a NIB Springfield EMP or TRP.

that being said, if I was to buy a .380 it would surly be a P238 HD.

Enjoy life!

Nice review and pics. I have an MK9 as well and it's been 100% reliable and a pleasure to carry.

Thanks for sharing.

Monkeyapeman,

In the next to last picture it looks as if the extractor is not flush suggesting, to me, that extractor also functions as a loaded chamber indicator, is this correct?

Thanks,
Bill K.

Thats right Bill,

The extractor is a chamber indicator and yeah the gun was loaded when I took the pics IIRC. It was pretty awesome earlier today I shot about 8 rounds out of a KelTec PF9, another gun I'll occasionally carry. Anyways, I picked up my Mk9 and it was so amazing comparing the two guns side by side... the Mk is so far and away better it is almost laughable. Amazing gun beautiful and effective... and dead sexy

Nice vid monkey, thanks for your time.
I love High Noon Holsters....very good stuff. That is the "Tail-gunner" you use, right? Can I ask how and in what position you use that holster in? thx

Hi PaiN,

Yup that is the Tailgunner. I'll carry it from 3-5 oclock depending on the clothing but right around 4 oclock is pretty much the standard.

The tail makes getting the holster in place a little awkward but once its in, its in for the long haul. The holster is extremely stable when compared to a typical clip-on (Bianchi Professional 100 as a comparison) and the retention is excellent and allows for a smooth silent draw and easy re-holstering. It cost right at about $110 after shipping which was a little higher than I wanted, but... you get what you pay for; which is why I got a Elite 03 w night sights lol. The wait of about 2.5-3 months, was worth it. I would buy from High Noon again without reservations.
